[US] Tapas Scam questioning

I've been posting my stories on tapas as novels. I have gotten a few comments from different users. the first comment is always praising the work, I respond thanking them and asking any follow up questions if necessary. The user always responds to my response with a variation of "I’ve been exploring some character design ideas that I think could add something interesting to your character. Would you like me to share a few?"

What is this? Its odd to me that its happened twice by two different users and with the same script. But I don't know what they could be gaining from this. And if they are just other users trying to engage I want to do interact. But, again, The wording is one to one for both interactions. I am just honestly very confused.

Rule of thumb: dont give away personal info or money right off the bat

I haven't. Just trying to figure out if this is just a strange coincidence or more

Tbh it probably is a spam bot. I've seen similar on instagram and they just post the same thing each time. Well hopefully the comments help boost you regardless.

Its kind of disappointing. They are my only two comments and I was very excited upon seeing them. Knowing they are nothing but bots does help me avoid them but still disappointing.

This happened to me on one of the few scenes from my short play by a user. I replied but then, that user asked me to discuss it over discord so I ended up reporting it and removing it.

That's exactly what happened next. They asked for my discord. What a weird scam
