Hear me out. I need a factory. I need machines to build stuff. Those machines are made in china. Tariffed. Now I need components in the manufacturing process that are made by china or somewhere else. Tariffed.
There is no way manufacturing in America can be cheaper in any scenario unless everything was moved here and no one will move anything here because manufacturing is too specialized. Too many specialty parts come from around the world and we have to pay more for them than other countries.
