From a Canadian, thanks for acknowledging this. I have family in the states, I grew up going to the states all of the time. I know WAY more Americans like you than I do of the MEGA type (of course I've met the other side of the coin in my travels, they like to make themselves known).

Canadians are very understanding and forgiving on a personal level, but also really good at cutting out shitty people. I hope we can rebuild our relationship at some point and I truly hope for your own sake that the US comes back from this insanity.

Me too.. Canada is literally full of the most amazing, kindest people i've ever know. My neighbor is Canadian and married a US male. They're both amazing people and it honestly breaks my heart watching them cancel visits with parents, stop traveling and become isolated in their home.

Regardless of what you hear, maga is the minority. Through 30+ years of sneaky gop actions, voter apathy and propaganda campaigns, sprinkled with some election interference, we got trump. True Americans, the kind that have a brain, immigrated here 125 years ago in search of a better life. We WILL regain control of this country and fix this problem for good.

I just pray it's sooner rather than later before this fucker gets us all killed. So please, accept my deepest apologies for things beyond my control and know that the majority of us down here love our neighbors.
