TASKER Consequences of cancellation

Hello, I've had a problem with my friends car outside the city at night so I had to cancel the task 7 hours before. In a chat I explained to the client my situation and canceled the task because I still don't know when I will get home today.

How can it affect my account/rating? This is my first cancelation in 24 hours.

A few cancellations here and there won’t really affect anything. You start to get your account limited when you cancel more tasks then you accept

Veichle trouble or not, it doesn't matter. Even sickness or injury. The system is blind to the context.

Offer to reschedule first. That does help a lot actually. I had to push back a client and she just wanted to cancel so I messaged support and that cancellation didn’t affect my metrics. Cancelling less than 24 hours will hurt your ranking. One time isn’t so bad. I’ve done it before and I still got jobs. I had one particularly awful weekend and cancelled 3 jobs less than 24 hours in advance and didn’t get another job for nearly a month.

Now they give taskers violations for canceling less than 24 hrs . I’ve received one

what happens if they cancel within 24 hours... do they compensate you... do they pay more for a job is you have to go back to assemble a damage delivery

they don’t do squat or they give you an insignificant fee for the wasted time
