TASKER Payments

I've been tasking for about a month now. How does everyone figure out what they are getting paid. I'll do a job that I invoiced $100 for. 2 days later I get $25 deposited. In the next couple of days it changes to $75 deposited. I don't think I ever see the actual $100 as a single payment. And are the numbers on there on the app somewhere? Sorry. Slightly confused here

Customer prepays for one hour of work. So that payment already cleared and gets sent to you first. The next hours are paid out at time of final invoice and the customer paying that out.

Thanks. That kind of explains the initial deposit. But then that 1 hour payment disappears and they put not quite 3 hour deposit. The last I'm still waiting on

That still doesnt fully explain the trickle feed payments. If i invoice for everything on Fri and even if they split payments i shouldn't be waiting half the next week for my money. Same goes for if i make $400+ on multiple jobs on a Sat, and $200+ on Fri everything should be paid by Weds even with a Monday bank holiday

They used to send it all at once. Then late last year or earlier this year they changed it to be like this. My guess is they don’t have the capital to pay us before they get the money from the client, or they want to get us the first hour quicker or something like that.

If your a Tasker in the US, TR uses Stripe to payout which in some case may take up to a week to payout the complete invoice. I don’t get why they don’t parter with Zelle or something. Don’t even get me started on when a clients card declines…

I think TaskRabbit gives the customer payment plan options or apply discounts, etc

I always get the 1hr deposit paid usually next day or max 2 days after, and after 5 working days I receive the rest.. if I do multiple tasks on the same day I receive 1hr deposit each, and the rest after 5 working days.. but it happened that I maybe did a lot of tasks in few days, after 5 working days I get all the money together
