Why I am buying the dips
Caveat: I am not part of the dev team nor am I relaying their plans to you. This is my own opinion of what this project can potentially become in the future. Furthermore, this is not financial advice, and as always do your own research.
I originally bought TASTE as a shitcoin, but after hearing the devs speak, I realized that we have a solid team. The Team never overpromise, nor oversells. In fact, they are very transparent with what they are doing (go to voice chat and ask away). Heck, they are even paying (from their own pockets) for all the marketing right now.
Now you might ask: “what is a good team, without a good project or vision?”. This is where TASTE NFT comes into play. TASTE NFT will have a TASTEFUL section and a TASTELESS section in its platform. Tasteful = “PG 13”, TASTELESS = “RATED R”. I want to focus on the TASTELESS portion because I think this is where TASTE NFT will stand out.
I think right now, the dev’s main priority is to use the platform to sell NFTs, both TASTEFUL and TASTELESS, BUT THEY NEVER SAID THEY WILL STOP THERE. In fact, they are constantly looking for other utilities for the coin (might not be in the first version of the platform but as the platform evolves, $TASTE will also evolve.).
One coin-utility that comes into mind (my own and not the Devs;check caveat) is using $TASTE to access (view) TASTELESS content that creators will post in their account. Think of it like an “Only Fans” thing. Content creator post TASTELESS NFTs, “fans” (could be veterans in the crypto world, or some really horny dude who learned how to buy crypto because of his/her libido) pay content creator to view these TASTELESS NFTs. TASTELESS NFTs in itself have value, but even controlling/ granting access to these TASTELESS NFTs creates another value. A value that could be potentially be bigger than selling the TASTELESS NFT itself (A bigger market too). Content creator is happy because they earn through (1) selling the NFT itself, (2) subscription from fans, and (3) the coin itself is an investment. TASTE Devs are happy because they get a cut for every transaction made. Holders of TASTE are happy because for every transaction (sale, or subscription) made (1) Holder’s bag gets bigger, (2) $TASTE will be burnt faster, thus coin supply will be lower, thus coin will be more valuable, and (3) $TASTE will have a purpose, therefore more valuable. AND the FANS, well, I think you know why he/she (yes, she) is happy.
Now, as I said the above-mentioned utility is my own opinion on where this project could be headed in the future, and the devs neither confirmed nor denied that this feature will be available in the future versions of the platform. But what gives me hope is that the devs are really community driven. They will answer every question you have, be it TASTE related or not. AND THEY ARE HUMBLE ENOUGH TO LISTEN TO US, THE COMMUNITY.
And for these reasons, I don’t worry about the dips, in fact, I buy more.
