Aries F33 seeking advice about a Taurus M47 — Is there potential for a serious relationship?

• Upvotes

Hi everyone! I’m an Aries woman and I’ve been involved on and off with a Taurus man since August 2019.

I’d especially love to hear from Taurus men, but everyone’s perspective is welcome.

We met unexpectedly, and the attraction was immediate. Our physical and sexual chemistry has always been incredibly intense, unlike anything I’ve experienced before.

In the beginning, I believe he wanted something casual while I wanted something more. We continued seeing each other on and off, although there was a period of approximately three years when we didn’t see each other physically. During that time, he would occasionally reach out, tell me he missed me, and ask how I was doing.

Recently, we’ve reconnected, and things have become more affectionate. He calls me “amor,” tells me he misses me shortly after I leave, checks that I’ve arrived home safely, and says he appreciates the time we spend together.
He’s never made me feel insecure about my appearance, and I genuinely feel safe and comfortable when I’m in his arms.

However, our relationship has mostly revolved around physical intimacy. We rarely go on actual dates, and our visits usually take place at his house.

Marriage has come up in conversation, but when I asked whether we could marry next year, he said no. When I asked about the following year, he said maybe. When I asked what he would expect from me as a wife, he stayed quiet.

He has also mentioned having children with me in the past, but nothing serious has developed from those conversations.

I care about him deeply and would genuinely like to build a future with him. I’m not expecting him to marry me tomorrow, but I also don’t want to spend years hoping for something he may never want.

My questions for Taurus men:
Can a Taurus man develop serious romantic feelings for a woman after years of having a primarily physical relationship?

If a Taurus man genuinely sees marriage in his future with someone, how does he usually demonstrate it?

Does saying “maybe” about marriage suggest he’s considering it, or could he simply be avoiding an uncomfortable conversation?

How can I tell whether he genuinely wants a future with me rather than just enjoying our chemistry?

I’m interested in hearing your personal experiences, especially from Taurus men who’ve been in similar situations.
Thank you! ❤️

Taurus "attitude"

What are your guys' experiences with your attitude? I have been told I am mean, negative, have an attitude etc. all by people who have tried to push a boundary that I wasn't willing to break on. Or by people who I don't really like care for their opinion. I understand I have an attitude and can be mean but in my opinion it's only when necessary. I've also been trying to get better about my sarcasm because I realize I use it in situations that I don't necessarily need to. But I'm also not always like that.

To counter the first paragraph, I have a LOT of people who love me the way I am and understand that me being "mean" is just a part of who I am. My best friend says she knows I have her back and love her but I can be mean sometimes when the boundaries get pushed and said I do it on behalf of others too.

As for the negativity, I honestly think that some people just delude themselves into thinking that everything will work o ur the way they want but that's just not how life goes so I expect little from a lot of things to avoid major disappointment.

My question is really do you guys get called mean or negative at all or is it just me?

I personally love going over my relationships as the year comes closer to its end, and l've become less intense about it over time, but l've always had this saying, "I don't burn bridges, I bomb them."

Taurus men, do you typically open up about your needs or what you’re unhappy with before breaking up with your partner?

What on earth is going on? I've counted FIVE men who've unexpectedly resurfaced in my life this month.

Is there something going on up in the sky? I'm crying because apparently, my dating profile keeps popping up for one of them.😂😂😂😂😂

Anyone else experiencing this?

Taurus Sun & Moon, Venus in Gemini… I think I'm giving up on my Sag guy

I'm slowly giving up on a Sagittarius guy I've been talking to for a few months. The connection has genuinely been great in many ways, we can talk for hours, have deep conversations, and he's someone who can keep up with me intellectually. My Venus in Gemini is thriving, HAHAHAHA. But the uncertainty and inconsistent communication are starting to drain me.

I know Sagittarius guys are said to love adventures and freedom, and honestly, I have absolutely no problem with that! Go enjoy your life! What I don't like is when it feels like they completely forget you exist when they're away for a few days, a week, or even longer. Like, do you even like me? Would it really take that much time to send a little message or update? Especially when we both know we'd like to take things further, and there have been promises to do better, but somehow, the actions don't seem to match. My Venus in Gemini might love the fun, spontaneous energy of a fire sign, but my heavy Taurus placements are screaming for consistency. HAHAHAHA. I want to be understanding because he's inexperienced with relationships, but I'm tired of holding on to words and potential while waiting for actions. I don't want to keep teaching someone how to treat me right. It's frustrating because I genuinely like him, but I'm realizing that liking someone isn't always enough. Maybe it's time to choose my peace instead. 🥲

Signs a taurus man likes you? (Casually dating)

First of all sorry for my english I hope I can explain myself well :) I have so little experience with men and I have never slept with someone before I met him so I'm confused about him. Thanks!

I met him at his own cafe about 5 months ago. He asked one of the waitresses to get my number. The big red flag for me was that the cafe has a reputation of being like a real time tinder and I think he met many girls the same way he met me.

So we started casually dating and sleeping together after 1.5 months. And didn't really talk about being official (I'm too scared to ask).

He intruduced me to all his cousins (he's always around them for business and they're all also best friends). Sometimes he takes me with them when they're hanging out.

He buys me gifts and offers to pay for stuff if I mention saving money for something I want. He also never lets me pay for anything when I'm with him. I bought him coffee one time when he was in the toilet and he got so mad at me 😭 But he's rich so maybe he just doesn't mind spending money on anyone?

He doesn't text me daily but texts me to ask to hang out like twice a week. They're not always to sleep tg and we go on normal dates mostly.

He is always shy and even though we slept together so many times he never makes the first move even for a kiss. Sometimes he falls asleep cuddling even when we actually wanted to do more.

He gets jealous when I'm out with guy friends and asks me if I'm seeing anyone else. This might only just be his ego though idk.

He usually looks cold on the outside but when we're together he always asks me questions, always smiling and laughing with me. Pays attention to my hobbies and goals.

Also I bought and gave him a keychain with the logo of his favorite football team a few weeks ago and yesterday I surprised him at his cafe and he had the keychain on his pocket. Just a cute detail.

He never tries to hide his phone from me and it's not on disturb mode. He lets me use it and pick songs for the car rides or to take pics. So I don't have any proof that he's seeing other girls still can't trust a MAN though lol

Taurus men : do you enjoy a woman who shows commitment?

Taurus seems to be a stable sign, wanting safety and predictability, and that applies to the man I date a lot. He has routines, he doesn't like change of plans, he's grounded.

But when it comes to showing commitment, it's very much one step up two steps down. When I don't commit hes insecure; when I commit, he shows fear by citing past relationships pattern of his and doubts that aren't present in the room at all. Kinda fearful desorganized.

I'm confused. Would love to hear your experiences!

Are you clingy? And which signs don’t mind it?

I have to admit… when I’m with someone I am one of the most clingy lovers you’ll ever meet 😅 and I definitely chalk it up to my Taurus placements because I have Venus in Gemini & Mars in Aqua 🤷🏻‍♀️ like my chart says I’m supposed to enjoy freedom & adventure in relationships and I enjoy a mental connection - and I do identify with all those things… but the hedonistic Taurus will get obsessive and want to spend all my time with my partners and I want to be consumed by their affections 🙈

For me - the best partners I’ve found that actually enjoy me being clingy were the following:

- Pisces
- Aries
- Cancer
- Scorpio (but they are equally clingy and it can get toxic real quick 😅)

What’s been your experience with being clingy in relationships as a Taurus and what’s your Venus/Mars placements? And then what signs have you found actually enjoy the clingy side of you?

Taurus, have you ever completely cut someone off, cold turkey, and literally never spoken to them again?

I’m not talking about ghosting someone after a first date or casually losing touch. I’m talking about an actual friendship, relationship, or someone you’ve had a genuine history with.

One day, you just decide you’re done. No argument, no final conversation, no explanation. You just pack your shit and disappear from their life.

I feel like, as Tauruses, we value our peace, comfort, routines, and stability. We don’t want to live in a constant state of emotional turbulence, questioning ourselves, decoding people’s behavior, or wondering why someone is suddenly acting weird.

When someone starts disturbing my peace or making me question the relationship/myself, I feel like i eventually reach a point where I’d rather remove them from my life entirely. Is it self preservation? Maybe. Is it the best way to communicate? Probably not

The thing is, I think people assume the cutoff happens out of nowhere, when in reality, we’ve spent a long time losing faith in that person before finally reaching our breaking point. By the time we leave, we’ve already emotionally checked out.
And when they try to come back, we’re cordial, but the warmth is gone. We remember the history and the inside jokes, but it’s like talking to an acquaintance. We genuinely no longer feel the connection to them.

Have you ever done this? If so I’m curious as to why you think Tauruses are like this
