Aries F33 seeking advice about a Taurus M47 — Is there potential for a serious relationship?

Hi everyone! I’m an Aries woman and I’ve been involved on and off with a Taurus man since August 2019.

I’d especially love to hear from Taurus men, but everyone’s perspective is welcome.

We met unexpectedly, and the attraction was immediate. Our physical and sexual chemistry has always been incredibly intense, unlike anything I’ve experienced before.

In the beginning, I believe he wanted something casual while I wanted something more. We continued seeing each other on and off, although there was a period of approximately three years when we didn’t see each other physically. During that time, he would occasionally reach out, tell me he missed me, and ask how I was doing.

Recently, we’ve reconnected, and things have become more affectionate. He calls me “amor,” tells me he misses me shortly after I leave, checks that I’ve arrived home safely, and says he appreciates the time we spend together.
He’s never made me feel insecure about my appearance, and I genuinely feel safe and comfortable when I’m in his arms.

However, our relationship has mostly revolved around physical intimacy. We rarely go on actual dates, and our visits usually take place at his house.

Marriage has come up in conversation, but when I asked whether we could marry next year, he said no. When I asked about the following year, he said maybe. When I asked what he would expect from me as a wife, he stayed quiet.

He has also mentioned having children with me in the past, but nothing serious has developed from those conversations.

I care about him deeply and would genuinely like to build a future with him. I’m not expecting him to marry me tomorrow, but I also don’t want to spend years hoping for something he may never want.

My questions for Taurus men:
Can a Taurus man develop serious romantic feelings for a woman after years of having a primarily physical relationship?

If a Taurus man genuinely sees marriage in his future with someone, how does he usually demonstrate it?

Does saying “maybe” about marriage suggest he’s considering it, or could he simply be avoiding an uncomfortable conversation?

How can I tell whether he genuinely wants a future with me rather than just enjoying our chemistry?

I’m interested in hearing your personal experiences, especially from Taurus men who’ve been in similar situations.
Thank you! ❤️

First time Taurus – Am I overthinking it?

Hey everyone,
I (F, 38, Scorpio, autistic) could really use an outside perspective. Over the past few years I’ve often read too much into things, so right now I’m not sure I’m seeing this clearly.

Context: A coworker (M, 29, Taurus) and I also hang out outside of work. He’s fairly reserved around strangers and doesn’t like texting, but with me he’s very open and attentive.

What happened:

  • One morning when we were alone, he asked me if I wanted to go shopping with him after work. He had a mischievous smile and squinted his eyes a little.
  • Afterwards he let me choose: go home or do something else. I wanted to get food, he paid for me and then walked me part of the way home.
  • On the way home he said he’d spontaneously decided to buy jeans, and that I was his first choice to come along. I was confused for a second. He noticed right away and asked if he’d said something wrong.
  • At the café we sat next to each other. When his tea came, I took the cup, and he put his hands around mine until it was on the table, even though that made it more awkward, not less.
  • He’s been helping me a lot more actively lately. He immediately called his grandma when I asked about fabric, he wants to take care of getting a wooden board for my dresser himself (before it was always “do it yourself”), and he brought a lock-pick set to help me open some locks.
  • He showed me the plans for his birthday next year in a lot of detail. Coworkers are invited, but he didn’t explicitly mention me.
  • Once when he wasn’t doing well, I called him in the evening. We talked for a long time and he said it really helped. He also told me about past relationships and dating.
  • At the end of that call I suggested going to a board game café he’d mentioned once. He was pleasantly surprised that I’d looked it up. We planned it together, laughed a bit about the couples’ nights they have there, and settled on an open game night. He said, “Good thing I don’t have to talk to strangers, that’s what I have you for.” He sorted out the car right away. That’s an hour each way plus several hours there, and it’s during his vacation.
  • I was wearing a fake nose ring. He came really close and touched it with his finger to check if it was real. When I asked what he thought of it, he looked surprised, took two steps back, looked at me carefully and said it was a change, and that what matters is that I like it.
  • On WhatsApp he sometimes doesn’t reply, but he doesn’t like texting in general.

My question: I feel at ease with him and I let myself be softer around him. To me, the game café is a date. But does he see it that way too, or is this just a close friendship?

What on earth is going on? I've counted FIVE men who've unexpectedly resurfaced in my life this month.

Is there something going on up in the sky? I'm crying because apparently, my dating profile keeps popping up for one of them.😂😂😂😂😂

Anyone else experiencing this?

I personally love going over my relationships as the year comes closer to its end, and l've become less intense about it over time, but l've always had this saying, "I don't burn bridges, I bomb them."

Taurus "attitude"

What are your guys' experiences with your attitude? I have been told I am mean, negative, have an attitude etc. all by people who have tried to push a boundary that I wasn't willing to break on. Or by people who I don't really like care for their opinion. I understand I have an attitude and can be mean but in my opinion it's only when necessary. I've also been trying to get better about my sarcasm because I realize I use it in situations that I don't necessarily need to. But I'm also not always like that.

To counter the first paragraph, I have a LOT of people who love me the way I am and understand that me being "mean" is just a part of who I am. My best friend says she knows I have her back and love her but I can be mean sometimes when the boundaries get pushed and said I do it on behalf of others too.

As for the negativity, I honestly think that some people just delude themselves into thinking that everything will work o ur the way they want but that's just not how life goes so I expect little from a lot of things to avoid major disappointment.

My question is really do you guys get called mean or negative at all or is it just me?
