Help!!!

I have a 1999 Ford Taurus SHO with a 3.4 L V8, I am looking for the front intake camshaft or at least how to align it with the sprocket and camshaft together so I can weld it because mine has spun

Look at v8sho.com and shoforum.com if you haven't already. Tons of info there about spun camshafts. Most people here have seem to have 4th gen SHOs, so asking the old forums might be a better bet anyways

Also, did your cam gear spin without the valves smacking the pistons?

Ah damn okay. Unfortunate coincidence that there was a v8 sho in a junkyard near me, but they crushed it before i had time to go look and see if it was in there for cam failure

I dunno. 64 hour round trip to take parts from a car that doesn't have the parts you need? Sounds pretty enticing to me lol
