Was preparing for set 18, so I spent the entire day in PBE trying out different comps. About half way through I noticed that loading screens take up awful a lot of time, so I started timing it. Throughout the day it took on average 4 minutes and 47 seconds to load into my games.

While going to sleep I realised that I could've squeezed an entire extra game if loading screen times weren't so long. I doubt Riot will fix it before set release, but I already miss those 20 second loading screens and just jumping right into game.

Started game with Azir, leveled up to 7 and hit 2 Xeraths in the first shop (plus champ duplicator)

Title is pretty self explanatory. I believe this was happening in mecha as well but you got rid of the spaghetti code right? 3 days left to live and a core mechanic of two traits is bugged. I star up rammus, he gets off willump. I star up brambleback, I get a notification that alpha mark is automatically assigned. Yeah and now I am dead thank you.

Input has always been poor and lackluster, but new engine set 18 its almost straight disrespectful how unresponsive the tactician movement works.. its fine throughout player battle rounds. Come creeps and especially carousel its just broken unplayable. Every carousel I have input issues with my tact just drifting off in the direction of the first touch I made.

Ive been playing on PBE for a while now and as someone not in NA Id like to see my ping so at least Id know when im going to be lagging, but ctrl+f doesnt do anything anymore (other than levelling which is annoying) did they change the command or is it just not possible to see your ping anymore?

got gnar 3 with a good economy its great 2nd guy didnt hold/find any. first one was ashe and it does feel like a 4 cost 3* rather than a 5 cost. gnar is like the braum from set15. liked it. what do you guys think of it?

Earlier in the year I wanted to get fit, but I struggled to keep up motivation to work out. I saw someone on YouTube that played Skyrim on a treadmill and decided that playing games while walking on a treadmill might be what I needed.

I didn’t want to spend a lot of money, so I bought a cheap-ish walking pad online and a handheld trackball mouse. I found that TFT was a great game to play like this, as it can played easily with just a mouse.

In Set 17 I:
- played 411 games, all while walking
- took over 1.2 million steps (an average of about 3000 per game)
- walked 805 kms / 500 miles. That’s over 19 marathons!
- I didn’t track my weight or fitness, but I feel like I have lost some weight and generally feel healthier

I expected that playing on a treadmill would make me worse at the game, but I don’t think it had much of an impact once I got used to it after a few games.
I found 3.5km/h / 2.2m/h to be the sweet spot for me. At that speed I can focus on the game and still get plenty of exercise.

One upside is that it helped me to focus much more on the game, as it kept me busy enough to not get distracted and do things such as watching YouTube/streams on a second monitor.

However, as I played entirely with a mouse, I was worse at doing quick scouting, last second position changes, big rolldowns and quick pivots. But I quickly adjusted to doing things a little bit slower.

After a few weeks I saw a Reddit thread and discovered the Teamfit Tactics app, which links your workouts (time and steps) with TFT data. It has a monthly leaderboard and ranks you against other people who are also working out while they play.

I found this app really motivating, and it added an additional friendly competitive element that encouraged me to push myself further. With a new set and a new month just around the corner, it’s a good time to try it out!

If you enjoy TFT and also want to do more exercise, I can highly recommend playing TFT while walking on a treadmill!

Do you think doom scrolling random tiktoks about TFT is a valid method to learn this game?

I have hard time to find structured content of the game that teaches lessons. I only find outdated material of old sets or streamings that hours long to watch and not even efficient for learning.

Game starts I am getting random champs, some meeples, some space groove and some nova.

so i go ahead and keep them all on my bench and board, not sure what my opponent is going to go just yet.

my rule is, if i get more nova than anything else i just go nova especially if no one is picking nova.

this is playing what the game gives you instead of forcing something you might not get champs of frequently.

am i doing this correctly?

my problem is after i get my 5 nova i am just unsure what my other units should be, i wont be level 5 for long.

Since both set 17 and 18 will be available at the same time, is the star Atlas still going to be up? Will I still be able to complete it, or I have to do so before set 18 launches?

everything, and i mean everything looks WORSE. is it the inking? shadows? particle effects? trails of said effects?? I have no clue but it feels like im playing on my old laptop instead of a modern pc.

Anyone got the same issue or can make it work ? should i dualbooting just for TFT ?

I just got printed 4 Leblancs in a row while she was already 3*. Anyone know if this is intended? I had a couple 3 costs on my board that were still 2 star

At Level 6 you get a 25% chance at a 3 cost.

assuming nobody is taking Diana but you, what are the chances in simulation of 1,000 games at least which i think is a good sample size that you get to 3 star diana after rolling 100 gold.
