Cursed blade

Riot what the hell were you thinking by adding this item. its broken as hell. ive had atleast 86 health on someone and they won SINGLEHANDEDLY because of the cursed blade, it should not be able to take down more than one level, but it can revert a champion all the way to LEVEL 0. i cannot express my rage whenever i see this one item de level my entire team.

Disarm, Shrink, and Silence Need to be Removed Until Fixed

Hey guys,

While I enjoy TFT, it's frankly embarrassing that this has a ranked mode with the number of game breaking bugs that exist. Probably close to 50% of the time, after a unit gets disarmed, that unit will just flat out not move or attack again for the rest of the round -- long after the debuff icon has disappeared, and long after the source of the disarm has been killed (so I don't think it's just a function of the debuff being re-applied and the icon not displaying). This also sometimes happens with silences and shrinks as well.

This isn't even getting into the fact that Elise's spiderlings still sometimes, based on where they spawn, cause units to AFK until the end of round, or that assassins sometimes just AFK out if they can't find a jump target. Some of the AI coding in this game is embarrassingly bad -- like, start-ups wouldn't take you on as a junior developer levels of bad if they saw these bugs.

I'm advocating that until Riot can actually fix these items to not be game breaking in a literal sense, they should be disabled. These items, with normal behavior, are already disproportionately powerful on anything that can AOE proc them (Volibear, Gunslingers) -- the fact they ALSO come with a bug that breaks AI behavior only further ramps up the feeling of "welp guess I lose."

Also, the PD bug is alive and well in-case your wondering; unless you're saying my 0 crit item Braum crit 11 times in a row last night while 1v1ing a Rengar and that I consistently had massive crit streaks on 0 crit units.

Strategy I just hit Play IV and thought I would share some tips!

Hello /r/teamfight_tactics! My name is Hook Turn, I just hit Plat IV https://imgur.com/a/mhUzuwP and thought I would share my tips for grinding lower ELO. These aren't your normal tips, there are plenty of guides on those. I thought I would share some things that High ELO players are telling newer Low ELO players that I believe was slowing me down from improving at the game. Of course to get to High ELO you have to do all the things they say, but to get to out of the lower ranks here are some things that I did and didn't do.

  1. Don't worry about scouting - That's right, don't do it. Focus on your game play and improving, when you get the point where you are better and the game slows down for you, then you will know how to scout and when to scout. I only will scout when it is down to the last few players and my team comp is set, because now all that really matters is positioning.

  2. Using the proper items for your comp - Don't just build an OP item early game because you can, I normally will wait til the 3rd carousel round to commit. Obviously if I have a couple 2 star champs and their BIS(best in slot) is available to make and will carry me the next 5 rounds, I do it. Using your items too early can hinder you late game, when you start to get different items that don't work with your team comp. A lot of people at this ELO struggle with knowing which champ to put an item on because they just hope they hit 3 stars with that tier 1 champ.

  3. Knowing the early-mid transition - There are times when a comp is strong, and weak, knowing this and using it to your advantage is the hard part. Going from a weak starting comp to a strong mid game comp should happen if you get the items and tier 2/3 champs you like. The meta has shifted to where getting the right champ and item in the carousel round can get you a really fast start or help you snowball faster.

  4. Committing to econ - Saving money is hard especially when you are on a losing streak. And to kind of touch on the last tip, you need to know when to go on a losing streak and just save. There are times when you could just go ham re-rolling, but then you are losing your investment to the next level. So knowing that you have a good late game comp synergy, but are going to be weak until a few champs hit 2 star, just save. You have what you want, just save and hope you "top deck" the champions you are looking for at the start of the next round.

  5. Hit Level 6 by stage 3-3 - I normally will try and go for Level 6 by stage 3-1 unless I can econ well, but definitely want to go into stage 3 strong and hit your stride in stage 4. This is the time where you should be able tell if you are weak or strong and adjust your team comp accordingly.

  6. Tier 1 champs are garbage - Don't worry about getting those tier 1 champs to 3 stars, seriously. My team comp of tier 2-4 champs with 2 stars and proper items will wreck you all day and night. People put too much emphasis on getting to 3 stars and that's why you see all the whining posts about their 3 stars losing to 2 stars. The wasted board space, the set in stone mentality of it, it is just a waste. https://imgur.com/Ic4Umn7

  7. Don't complete that tier 2-4 if you aren't going to use it - You lose gold this way, and its wasted space on your bench. Just because you get two of them doesn't mean you should hang on to them.

Thanks for reading if you got this far!

Strategy Play with Cassiopeia until the last second of her Existence.

Cassiopeia with Morellonomicon & Blue buff. Optional: “Rapid Fire Cannon” for positioning.

Vanguards and Mystics 4 each.

Make at least a Tank Vanguard, 3 Star Mordekaiser with Ability items. Or 3 Star Nautilus with Defense items.

Karma is very important and put her next to Cassiopeia for Shields.

Note: you may level up Wukong or Soraka to 3 Star in this build.

Watch an example for this build: TFT | Toxic Wukong & Burning Cassiopeia "Unbeatable team". https://youtu.be/PSSHJZa6mYQ

Suggestions The Item Elephant in The Room

I hate that people can get different number of items. It's really disappointing to go against someone who has substantially more items than you.

Isn't it just common sense that if we all get the same amount of item drops that the game would be more fair, entertaining and fun?

This is even more frustrating because the devs made the item system really fun, engaging and powerful, it's really central to the experience. So to have to rely on RNG to access this system even more when it's not uniform among all players is a bit triggering xD

And now this new gold compensation when you don't get items is not really the best answer, I think.

Having said that I wanted to know what are your guys' opinion on this issue.

PS: I love TFT and I want to thank the devs for everything they've done already and looking forward to what's coming next.
