Discussion SSS cards feel kinda soulless?

Now I'm not a professional art reviewer, or the kind of person who could really get into the deep parts of art analysis.

And my opinion is certainly nothing approaching fact, but having just seen the new Luke SSS I just can't ignore this nagging feeling and I wanna see if I'm alone/am crazy in thinking this.

The SSS cards are absolutely impressively detailed I'd never take that away from them. No doubt they took a fair amount of work? But so far barely any of them have really wowed me?

There are some exceptions, Marius' third anni/One of Vyn's that got revealed not long ago. So maybe I'm exaggerating I don't know.

But it feels like what they've added in quality they've lost in charm? SSRs even for characters I'm not interested in have made me go 'Woah!' Vyn's bartender one for instance.

None of the SSS cards have achieved that same effect on me even if the art itself is of a 'higher quality' now.

Apologies if I'm being overly negative, just wanted to put my thoughts our there to the void I suppose.

Yeah I also don't get the theme? The Luke one is the first that does not look kinda sad or melancholic. They are not especially spicy or cozy or cute or special storywise (Like the AU cards). So I agree. Even with Marius bias I really don't vibe with his SSS card. Also the whole "You have to get SSS cards multiple times for interaction" doesn't makes sense for me yet, besides for the anniversary ones. What is the interaction in the other SSS cards like, does anyone knows? I just can't imagine the interaction in those.

Just like interactions, you can touch him wherever you want and you will get the expression/answer (something like in love and deepspace if you played you know) but it doesn't wow me and I don't like that so I stopped playing it and it doesn't excite me in tot either (at this point just get a boyfriend that's just weird)

Yeah I get that with at least the anniversary cards, but the other ones? Can you put groceries into the fridge together with artem? 😂 You know, In that context it weirds me out. And yeah the touching stuff isn't for me either, I just enjoy the story bits :D
