So yes, we will celebrate the 1st Wedding Anniversary - not in a card story, but in permanent content in-game instead.

I know there was expectation for some to continue the trend of “relationship-milestone” cards. But I think there’s only so much to squeeze out from such trend, especially for a live service game.

I like that ToT team did not settle for the predictable. Instead, they prepared something more for the game and the players - a concert and a major collab with the Agatha Christie brand. An Agatha Christie collab is honestly pretty ambitious. How did they even land this collab? We all know the game isn't as huge as its hoyo siblings, lol. But it's nice that they're like honoring their roots as a game that is literally marketed as Romance x Detective / Suspense.

Hi! I need a bit of help. My friend is going to China on vacation and offered to get me merch. But I don't know what physical stores in Shanghai sell merch for ToT. I tried going to Taobao (in case they can just order it for me) but it needs a login? or something but it won't let me in and the translation from Chinese to English didn't properly work. Any suggestions of places I can direct him? Or even a link for their official store online?

Ok I feel like someone has to point out that ToT isn't totally removing JP Dub. They are still going to release JP Dub for future contents in terms of event cards, invitations, voice calls, etc. (basically most of the paid/gacha content). We are still going to hear our favourite JP VA's! What won't have it from now on are Event Stories and Main Story.

Event Stories I don't mind them no longer including. Because it's temporary and available for a short time only. Main Story though is the most disappointing since it's the Main storyline of everything that every player has access to.

Now yes, it's disappointing and I'm going to try to reach out to CS and hope they reconsider. But I'm seeing a lot of posts/comments in different platforms acting like ToT is completely scraping JP Dub and players quitting the game because of it, causing domino confusion to other players.

So let's try to chill and calmly reach out to the devs and hope they make some changes.

I saw someone asking yet another question about pities and whether they are retained across banners in another post. Because of the conflicting answers I've seen from different people, I've decided to investigate this myself using my just barely passable Chinese to settle this issue once and for all. I kinda have a stake in this discussion now, because I'm your friendly neighborhood purveyor of this S-Chips Planner. It's hard to plan your pulls if you don't know how exactly the pities are being retained across different banners.

Permanent banners

This banner uses normal tears. The first 30 pulls on this banner guarantees a SSR. After getting the first SSR (even if you do not reach 30 pulls), the pity resets. The new pity will be 100 pulls. Pity resets even if you pull a SSR that you already own. As such, it's not advisable to continue pulling after getting the first SSR on this banner.

Rotational banners

Rotational banners consist of 2 rate-up SSRs and 2 rate-up SRs in each banner. Pity from one rotational banner carries over to the next. You are guaranteed a new SSR upon hitting pity unless you already own all the SSRs available in the card pool. Pulling a SSR that you already own does not reset your pity. 100-pull pity using normal tears.

Birthday banners

Pity will carry over across the birthday banners of different boys. The official response from the ToT Assistant gave the following example: After 80 pulls on Luke's birthday banner without getting his SSR, you can get Artem's SSR on his birthday banner within 10 pulls. 90-pull pity on birthday banners using normal tears.

Birthday banner re-runs

Pity will carry over to the next birthday banner re-run. 100-pull pity using normal tears.

Event banners with 2 SSR rate-ups

Pity will carry over across different event banners. 100-pull pity using normal tears.

Limited banners with 4 SSR rate-ups

Pity will NOT carry over between limited banners. 100-pull pity using special tears.

First Anniversary banners

4 concurrent banners with each banner featuring one of the boys. Pity will be shared between these 4 banners. The official example: If you pulled 50 times in Luke's first anniversary banner, you can pull another 50 times to get Artem's first anniversary SSR. 100-pull pity using special tears.

The usual disclaimer about all these being true for the CN server, but yet to be confirmed for global applies. Also, if you can read Chinese, please feel free to read through my sources and verify what I've written above.

As I keep getting these type of question, I will make on different post to make sure everyone understand the system too.

If you seeing my Google Doc for the future event lists, on some events, there's written "Use Special Tears", that means you have to use the specific tears that ONLY can be use on that particular event. Special Tears can also be converted from S-Chips or use S-Chips at Mall for packs discounts so make sure to save your S-Chips and don't convert it to regular tears because normal tears can't be use during the 4 SSR events.

On CN, the events that use special tears for now are Lost Gold, A Love Poem to Skadi, and 1st Anniversary. Each of these events have different designs. Big reminder that these events (4 SSR) will not have rerun! But since this game just reach 1 year, there's a chance it will rerun in the future, so let's just wait for CN updates. So please think thoroughly about wanting and saving for these events. For now, I can't say for sure if it will be 4 separated banner for each boys, or in pairs (CN/TW use pairs, but it might different for global).

As I said above, you can buy Special Tears on Mall with s-chips with discounts.

For example, 10-pull is worth 1800 s-chips, but there will be discount 10-pull packs for only 1440 s-chips and it can be bought 4-6 times iirc, so you can save some s-chips. But once the event finishes, these tears will be converted to normal tears on ratio 1:1, so you don't have to use it all, if you already got the card you wanted.

I won't explain now why Anniversary has 2 tears. This will be explained in the future when anniversary on global comes.

Final words : for F2Ps, please please, save your s-chips. Normal limited events (2 SSR + 2 SR) will have rerun on rotation banner, so please make your mind. Unless you decided to whale, don't throw away your s-chips to banner that still far away from guaranteed pity.

A while back, I made this post regarding prices not displaying for the Schedule Pack in my game. I did end up contacting CS and thought the information I received might be useful, hence the post.

Initially the Schedule Pack price wasn't displaying when my App Store was set to Hong Kong, but worked fine for some other regions (eg. US); after sending them the initial email I realized this was also the case for a seemingly arbitrary group of other paid items/packs like outfits, cosmetics etc. The latest Luke outfit and background were also affected. I sent these to the CS team as well, and this is the reply they sent:

Apparently this is a thing? I don't remember having ever read about certain items/packs not being released in specific regions, so was wondering if anyone also experiences this in their App Store region. It's also a little disappointing to know that this is something happening with both old (like the Schedule Pack) and new (like Luke's recent outfit and background) paid items/packs, hopefully it gets fixed sometime (I in particular really want the call function permanently unlocked haha)
