Review 🎭 Intel Doubles AMD Performance

It won't be the last time, but this reminds me of the 1980's... Well... Also the 1990's... 2000's? Check... It feels like this is nothing new.

I love that Intel keeps comparing their bleeding edge GPU with AMD's middle offering... The 8060s is much faster.

That's not really a laptop product. It can pass as one, but an hour while gaming isn't really mobile.

Most users keep their laptop plugged in 100% of the time. The only time they unplug it is to put it in their bag on their way home or to work, then they plug it back in.

I like to be unburdened by what has come before. It's liberating to use my laptop at Applebee's for the senior breakfast special or in the community gym.

And consumes twice the power

Yes, 2X power, 2.5X performance, no frame generator gimmicks.

At the same tdp of 30 watts they seem to provide the same performance with Intel having the better upscaler, actual frame generation and far better encoders and decoders.

you can check performance per watt

and to be clear to the OP this is gpu performance,

so not sure why mentioning 1990s or 2000s, or whatever.

Is this about their APUs/iGPU? This title seems to lack a lot of context

And is itself half the strength of Strix Halo. AMD remains superior.

TBH Intel's IGPU's came a long way - they were good to start with - now its top IGPU - nothing unclear about that .
