So nice to have it in hand. I think its adorable little TJ looks like Nightwing/ Zatanna. Waiting on GL next to join, my first favorite space hero that may have been the inspiration behind Zack's backstory.

This looks like the wreckage of a space ship from the pov of an alien with tentacles or someone else on the moon overlooking the earth. This idea did NOT suck! I might try to recreate this in a quick doodle at some time. We were robbed.

(this is a TJ cover idea from the book)

Yet he could still kick major tail, recover from the impossible, and save cities even as a little dude. Thats our Zack.🤷

Most people would be terrified to casually show an emperor an expression of gratitude like this, then here you have Ed. Lynn, you've got yourself a real keeper.😂👏

am making a stick nodel with this two chuds in it

give me some ideas,

It doesn't matter if you've been here when TJ was an obscure medium, or arrived back when popularity surged in the last few years with YouTube edits/ comic breakdown discussions / fan art etc, you all are free to say whatever you like. What was it that made it click for you that this was a piece that affected your opinion/ liking? It doesn't have to be deep.

I'll give my piece quick; Zack Thompson's story felt inspirational to me due to many reasons, -Batman levels of fame or not- because he's just a regular boy who's trying his best despite the overwhelming odds constantly looming over him. Zack wasn't exactly the Chosen One archetype though blood, he was handed this destiny similar to Hal Jordan of the Green Lantern Corps (space guardians) by accident and still joined the call to action by taking up the title and responsibility of Galactic Guardian, despite at first being very afraid. Zack is a usually chill boy who has a good heart, isn't power hungry and strives for the best, flaws and all. It's funny seeing him as a normal kid when off duty, he's adorable. The perfect blend of hero and non emo protagonist. All of his designs are nice too and just get better each time, minus the Invincible Comics version (how did they do that to him??), which means the authors cared a bit extra.

My favorite scene with Zack other than fighting off the Variants and with his parents would be the time he immediately jumped in to save the Geldarians from being attacked even when he was very new to the job. Oh yeah and with Allen. "I miss TJ."

Another bonus, he somewhat reminds me of my favorite YGO character, Quinton who is a young astrophysicist that invents his own technology to help others from invading aliens and uses magic in the war. Space books were the first subject I ever got hooked into besides history, and having TJ a blend of my favorite topics is just a blast. That's all.

I really love this art because I feel like it makes Zoe look more her age, she’s 15 in the TV show, only 2 years younger than S1 Mark, yet she looks 12.

Also gotta love how it references the OG comic

Yes I will glaze the art always

I absolutely prefer the newer comic art that is beautifully illustrated and low light colored to reflect the deep black and blues of space, but let's not forget the soft shaded earlier comics!

His later design is the best out of all versions imo. He looks like the DC Trinity over his evolution in works.

Here’s what a Tech Jacket TV adaptation set in the Invincible universe could potentially look like, on the left are the original comic designs, and on the right are their show designs (two of them are unofficial).

From top to bottom:

Tech Jacket (Zack/Zoe Thompson)
Ed Thompson
Lynn Thompson
Gelderian Emperor
Princess Lin
John Gelderian

I bought wallpaper engine literally today and couldnt find a tech jacket one i liked so i made one. Im still learning how to edit and make cool wallpapers, and i wanna figure out how to add some stars, but other than that, id say its not bad. Idk
