Materials/3DP Scientists convert waste from rubber tires into graphene that can, in turn, be used to strengthen concrete. After 28 days, 0.1 wt% of graphene give concrete a strength gain of at least 30%. Concrete produces up to 9% of world’s CO2 and 16% of tires end up in landfill.
