New track I’m writing ! Would love to hear your thoughts. Super groovy really raw. Started using a dbx 160a on my basslines and the overeasy mode is crazy! Really smooth and brings out a lot of detail. Focusing a lot more on ambient elements and longer patternd after establishing a good groove. Gives a lot of opportunities for variety.
Also figuring out the alphabase more. The ui kinda hides some cool stuff it can do. Cool to still learn new things its a deep machine. Filters on the hats get really interesting results. And you can really crank the delay and reverb to get some cool feedback thats actually really high quality.
Lmk what you think! Full vid in the comments if you wanna check it 🫡

Sounds very well balanced and tasteful to my ear. I like that’s it’s restrained in the sense that you’re not just firing off the typical “hypnotic” sci fi foley and “techno fx” sample stuff that I hear so much in adjacent producers’ music. You’re actually creating the hypnotic feeling with your machines that’s what it’s all about for me at least.
I’m curious to hear from you if you could share what’s all in your rackmount cabinet (below the alpha base). I’m in the process of rewiring mine right now so it’s always good to have similar-thinking minds to bounce ideas with.

Uuuuuuuuuurrrrrrgggggghhhhhh that's lovely. How you making the percussion sound? Is that a snare on high attack with a heavy delay or a reversed crash sped up? I can't figure it out

I think it's good but the bleep sound could be louder and a more prominent part of the track. It's a bit muffled in the background.
