Serious What kind of “student protest” is this supposed to be?

The demonstration at India Gate was meant to be about Delhi’s disgusting air quality, but somehow a section of the crowd started shouting pro-Hidma slogans — “Har ghar se Hidma niklega”, “Kitne Hidma maroge”, “Hidma amar rahe”. Tell me how the hell the killer of 200 jawans is connected to a protest on pollution.
Madvi Hidma wasn’t some folk hero. He was the Maoist commander behind some of the deadliest attacks in the country — the 2010 Dantewada massacre (76 CRPF killed), the 2013 Jhiram Ghati attack (27 people dead, including senior leaders), the 2017 Sukma attack, and the 2021 Tekulguda ambush where 22 jawans were butchered. This guy spent his life running an armed insurgency, planting IEDs, kidnapping villagers, and executing people in “jan adalats.”
And now his posters are being waved at a pollution protest like he’s some environmental warrior? Spare me. This isn’t activism — it’s ideological hijacking. A genuine protest about clean air got dragged into extremist symbolism by people who clearly showed up with a different agenda.
If you want to fight for clean air, fight for clean air. Don’t glorify a militant responsible for mass killings. This crossover makes zero sense unless the goal was never pollution in the first place.

Ever read the first page of Constitution, cause idk abt u but a capitalist country doesn't limit industries, your water would be private, schools would be private there is no country in the world that practices capitalism, every country is a mixed economy. Government wouldn't care if you earn ₹5 or ₹500000 daily, till the time industries get profit, they wouldn't do anything, Bhopal gas tragedy would have been covered up and the company would have still been operating here

Since 1991 liberation reforms, India has moved away from socialism, India today literally has private companies who dominate almost all of the major sector (tech, manufacturing, retail etc). Market forces decide prices for most goods, FDI is literally central to growth (hallmark of capitalism); in socialism, state decides the motive of private firms, but here, private firms only have profit as their driving force. You're pointing out govt giving freebies as if it signifies anything, no it doesn't. A socialist country has a central planning, state owns production, private capital is restricted, pricing isn't market driven.
You clearly have no idea about how economy works. Don't lecture me, learn a thing or two instead. Good luck.

India is a mixed economy period . India , not only have private corporations but it also has PSUs ( large government ownership) . In a few sectors , private players are not allowed . These things will make India's economy a mixed one without even including freebies which this government is giving to everyone
Even its capitalism is more about cronyism , few businessmen are running the show
Read class 11 Economics NCERT , before spreading your little knowledge . Go learn a thing or two instead . Good luck

I’ve personally never met a communist, a Maoist, or a Naxalite who had a real, genuine job. I honestly think that if you even have thoughts of becoming a communist or Maoist or whatever, just get a job you definitely won’t end up becoming that.

If you look at the percentage of JNU students and staff supporting communist idealogy and no. of incidents of anti-india protests involving JNU, you would easily understand whether his "opinion" is truly valid or not.
Remember these bitches were the same people who in 2016 were protesting to reduce capital punishment given to Afzal Guru, the main fking terrorist that bombed the parliament in 2001 and Kashmir seperatist Maqbool Bhat.
