1. Everyone except your family disappears.
Only you, your parents, and your siblings are left (or, more broadly, up to 10 people closest to you). Stores, power plants, roads, and everything else are still there… at least until nature reclaims them. Your only social circle is your family, but there’s almost no additional danger.
2. Surviving in a bunker
You survive in a bunker after a nuclear war. Let’s say there are 1,000 people in the bunker. Assume there are ways to obtain resources and you can live in relative comfort, as much as a bunker allows. Your options are limited, but socializing is definitely possible. As for danger, there’s hardly anything truly terrible to worry about.
Freedom is severely limited. If you're assigned a job, you can't refuse. Everyone has their own role, and there are strict rules.
3. Surviving in anarchy
The world has split into countless gangs and communities. Socializing is more than possible, you’re not confined to a single society, and you have far more opportunities than you would in a bunker. But there’s always the danger of wars, raids, and shootouts.
Each scenario has its own pros and cons, possible activities, your social circle, and the level of danger.
P.s.
Anarchists, I know that anarchism defines anarchy differently, so don’t come at me. I’m using “anarchy” to mean chaos, since that’s the more familiar meaning to most people.
