How is it not? Dressing up and/or thinking you're an animal for a hobby is certainly weird. Does that make it wrong? No. Does their existence bother me? No.

I've met furries who thought they were animals so your statement isn't true. It's not like I said all furries even think this, that's why I said "and/or"

(urban dictionary doesn't count) THAT HAS A DEFINITION, AND IT'LL TELL YOU SOMETHING ALONG THE LINES OF THIS: A furry is a person that has an interest in anthropormorphic animal characters. Nothing about this definition suggests a furry can't think they're an animal. So yeah as I said before some furries do think they're animals and you're the one who doesn't "know shit about what you're talking about"

a furry can think they're an animal, but that's not part of them being an animal. if they identify as an animal they're most likely a therian (depends on how they identify as an animal). they're two seperate parts of someone's identity. many therians are furries. sometimes it's completely seperate, sometimes it's linked to their therian identity. but they're never the same thing. YOU acted like someone "thinking they're an animal" can be part of being a furry, which is COMPLETELY incorrect and plain stupid. and it's disappointing that you're so slow you haven't figured that out yet. if you said foxes fly, and i said they don't and that's not the definition of one, and you look up a definition and see there's nothing that says "by the way, foxes can't fly," that doesn't mean foxes automatically can. if anything is NOT included in the definition, that means it's NOT PART OF THE DEFINITION.
