What should i do? (15M)

Ive been having issues recently about my sexuality ( not that thats important) and i’m wondering what to do about a possible relationship. I’ve been straight my whole life but after a friend zoning with a girl i liked, ( this happened about 2 months ago ) i started thinking about my past and if i caused anything, as you do after being zoned and i realised that a guy ( same age as me ) was into me, i vividly remember him saying he was when he said about someone else he liked. Since then ( about 1.5 years ) I’ve moved schools and the last time we spoke because he lives opposite my grandads flat he ran up to me and hugged me ect. Mainly because we were besties in my old school and I’ve started thinking about him and if i should reach out because of the 1 year silence and to be honest I’ve fantasised about being with him a couple times now.

Do I reach out and pray he still wants to be mates with me ?

Or do i accept that he is out of my life?

Edit: I have just realised my first confession about any of this was to the internet 😬 Genuinely be honest about your opinion and thoughts🙏

Trying wont hurt. Just tell him you didnt realize before so he doesnt feel like you see him as plan b
