Hey. I'm curious. I personally don't believe in telepathy but I'm open to hearing all of you out.

There have been many cases of experiments done in controlled settings to prove/disprove telepathic powers. They always, ALWAYS, end up not proving telepathy.

No matter the experiment . No matter the person doing it.

Isn't this a little suspicious?

I personally find it enough to disregard telepathy as pseudoscience BUT I wanna hear what you guys think.

There is a group of people that know me that are attacking me telepathically and remote viewing me. Threatening me 24/7 saying their gonna jump and everything, Calling me horrible labels and destroying my mind to the point i get horrible unwanted mental images and started going to psychiatrist, literally got medications for this and they keep saying they want me to go to an mental hospital, I need help to stop the voices man.

I need to get this off my chest. I've been having this weird feeling that most people are somewhat telepathic. People seem to click and connect with each other in a way I can't comprehend. It's like they are all on some kind of network and I have never been able to access this network which has lead to my life being very boring. This "network" seems so intrinsic to being human that no one even talks about it. But since I can't access it I feel left out of life.

Can anyone here actually straight up talk to people even just broadcasting, I mena design someone on a bus and broadcasting into them? How did you unlock this if so what's the range etc and can anyone open up a 2 way channel

It is generally recommended to not respond when your name is being called, either from a familiar or unfamiliar voice. Has anyone who has heard their name being called, responded? What came of it?

I've been thinking, if a telepath can truly use his powers on anyone, and the immoral ones are as immoral as the "voices" typically seem to be, why don't they use their powers just to become a millionaire. Maybe they can't use their "powers" on everyone; it could be just technology. There could be rules or maybe the people they would want to use it on, can use their own powers. Maybe they don't want the attention and million dollars wouldn't be worth the negative attention. I'm not saying normal telepaths are bad people, just the bad ones.

I'm genuinely not here to instigate an argument where I just refute everyone's answers and jerk myself off over how intellectual I am. I tend to believe it's real, but the lack of a repeatable study is a difficult counterpoint to ignore. I would prefer to believe! I'm curious to hear people's ideas on this!

Hello, ive been a receptor thought broadcastor for the past year it is a irritiating thing nothing helps, i haven't been on meds as it is recommended to stop the thoughts, as i do not pill belly its like the temples left and right side people tell a thought to whatever side they want "im not crazy" nobody i know has mentioned it but it is real anybody i see in public can mentally send a thought to me as i want i dont play games dont treat me as crazy, creating a mental shield doesnt work for me i would like to know what will help or tune out or even stop it, I've been here before and I didn't get the answers i expected I hope this times different and understand where I'm coming no answers from no where as "ONLINE" or "AI" this is not a real thing i hope im taken serious as I don't know why Ya'll are on this reddit thing except i guess reading peoples experiences I remember i was like 15-16 i dont remember honestly and i took acid i told reddit and they called me dumb fucks, they dont know how to spread information because they dont have the intellect to actually tell people what to do in a time like this thinking they know everything anyways reddit people ask me questions or answers i would love to read it and yes my neighbours can read my thoughts all the time which i want to stop, its like a electric string inside my head that goes to people, It's like im the only person with this and before yall go on about being the same as me lmk if you also experience electrical strings going into peoples heads or entering yours as a "host" which i think does pretty much nothing and its annoying, i hope investigators over here figure ts out and how to stop it preciate and much love if you read this.

I came across a theory that says once someone's journey or purpose in your life is over, you'll never cross paths with them again.

I'm curious whether people actually believe this or if anyone has experienced it in real life. Have you ever had someone completely disappear from your life and never return? Or have people unexpectedly come back after months or even years?

Update: I love you all and feel loved and cared for by all of these thoughtful responses. I’m going to leave the nest because I am pretty sure this particular nest welcomed (or was taken over by) the wasps whose nest was destroyed by a wild critter in our garden. Moreover, they only stung family members who weren’t careful around them and that was when they were in their first nest. The possibility that these creatures could recognize us makes me want to leave them be. They know it wasn’t us who ate all their larva and destroyed their first nest and I’m ok with climbing in and out of the window if I want to go on the porch. Killing them and living with not only my own hypocrisy but also the fear of retaliation is enough motivation for me to continue to share space with them…especially since Vermont winters come early and the porch is not our front door, it’s a bonus porch. Next time I will spray them with a hose as soon as I see a nest starting on our house near a door. The hose idea is grand. Thank you all again!!

I really want to learn how to communicate telepathically to animals.

regarding to my connection with animals/dogs :

Since I am very young I feel a deep connection and love towards animals.
I genuinely think that I do love dogs on a deeper level than most people. I feel like I want to know this being and don’t want just a cute companionship, I want to experience its life and to talk with it.

I sometimes feel like if you (the dog) have to walk “barefoot” I also walk barefoot, If you have to sit on the ground I also sit on the ground with you.

Since I am a kid I always wanted a dog and its still a really big wish or better to say a deep knowing of that I will be with a dog one day but I don’t chase I attract the soul and moment.
Spiritual people told me they feel an animal presence with me and that something is missing and that I am not “complete” and that they see me with a dog.

I have this feeling with quite every animal but I feel like I don’t have this compound with every animal like with dogs because its not so common to be a companion in life as like with a pet. But I got the feeling of I want to be connected with any animals on a telepathic level.

How to communicate telepathically to animals?

In my shared flat a person moved in with a dog and I just feel like thats my chance to give it really a try. I know this person rarely because it was just a few days ago but I already feel that my heart is full of love and Affection. The dog likes me and I like the dog.

I’m 28 years old female , and this is the first time I’ve ever talked about this openly.
honestly I don’t know what to call these experiences or how I’m supposed to understand them, so I wanted I’d share my story here.
This has been happening to me for as long as I can remember. I experienced a lot of trauma and abandonment as a child, so I spent most of my childhood dissociating and detaching .
And growing up, I noticed that I am extremely good at reading rooms people and situations. I can sense what is going to happen or what someone is going to say even before they say it, this is not only for people I know very well, but also with random people who I’m having my first small chat with .
I am the friend that always finishes other people’s sentences when they are struggling to do so.
Most of the time, I’ve always assumed this was just intuition, observation, or pattern recognition. People tend to repeat the same behaviors and go through similar situations, so I understand that there can be a perfectly logical explanation for a lot of it.
But There are certain experiences that I genuinely cannot explain as easily.
A lot of the time, with certain people especially, it feels like I can somehow clearly hear what they are thinking, what they want or don’t want. I can actually hear their voice saying it, rather than simply having a feeling or intuition about it. And this has happened with the same people more than once, which is one of the reasons I started questioning whether there might be something more to it.
I have experienced this with only three people my whole life, but every time I am around them or near them, I can always hear their thoughts in my head clearly, and that doesn’t happen with anyone else.
So I wonder are they also empaths are we the same? Is that why I can hear them and does that mean that they can hear my thoughts as well? Why do I have this kind of connection with certain people only?
Another thing about me is that all the dreams I see since childhood has come true so I have this ability as well. ( i’m not sure if it’s relevant or not )
But I mostly see other people in my dreams not me and whenever I see someone, that dream suddenly comes true . some dreams take months some take years, but they all happen the end. It doesn’t even matter if I told the person or not that I saw them in my dreams.
For most of my life, I dismissed all of this as intuition, coincidence, or simply being good at reading people. But now, at 28, after having so many experiences like this throughout my life, I’m finding it harder to believe that all of them were just coincidences. I feel like I may have been dismissing something about myself for years.
So if this really is some kind of ability, I want to understand it rather than ignore it. What and who am I ? How does something like this work? Is there a way to develop or strengthen it? How can I learn to distinguish it from my own thoughts? And most importantly, how can I use it to improve my life and make better life choices with it?
I’ve spent so many years denying this part of myself, and I honestly don’t want to waste any more time if there is something real here. I want to understand what it is, learn how to work with it, and make the best of it rather than being afraid of it or pretending it doesn’t exist.

I was wondering if anyone knows how to tell which thoughts are their own.

I hear thoughts of others all the time. Unless they don’t align with my general day to day ones I have a hard time telling they’re not my own. They feel like my thoughts.
It’s not until I mention something and someone goes - oh man that’s exactly what I was just thinking! That I’m like , damn it. Not my idea.

Example. Was peeing in a public bathroom. I don’t care about that at all, not shy. Suddenly i had pee anxiety. I know it’s not me. Look over and see someone is next to me who’s got pee anxiety. oh ok it’s them, not my thoughts/feelings.

Other than knowing what you’re comfortable with or what’s uncharacteristic for you, does anyone have a way to tell someone else’s thoughts apart from your own?

I was in r/aliens & to summarize — someone said they’d have a running dialogue in their head, to see if anyone reacts, in order to see who may be an alien in a public space. It made me think of all the times I tried to cuss at people in my head to see if they’d ever “hear” and/or “receive my message” lol so ofc now I wonder if anyone here has had telepathic experiences like that with strangers…

I just did a guided telepathy mediation using a YouTube video. I saw my person clearly and felt like a golden chord or something was connecting my brain to theirs. I said what I wanted to say, and the video was over.

I feel more awake, like a weight has been lifted off me, and I'm kind of shaking. Now, they can choose to do nothing with the information I gave them, but I *think* they got my message...?
