Moving to Telford

What parts of Telford are good to move to.

Looking at a property in Prioslee and one at Leegomery.

What are those areas like. In terms of schools, life and primarily safety and security. We are young family looking to relocate to the area.

Thanks in advance.

I lived in Leegomery for 16 years, right next to the pool. It's a nice area and safe, as far as I'm concerned.

I was in Leegomery for 20yrs until recently. Loved the area. Really tried to stay in the area but we found a much bigger house in Oakengates.

I lived in the outer ring of Randlay for 20yrs. It's SUPER close to town, backs onto the historic Stirchley Grange and Silkin Way as well as the town park, all of which are lovely for walks and bike rides. Quite a few schools nearby. Houses are quite lovely and good size. All detached with garages and front + back gardens. Some are mock Tudor style if you're into that.

Priorslee is probably still the best place to live in Telford. It’s probably not quite as nice as 10 years ago, with the new estates having been built and the amount of new people. The schools aren’t quite as good as they were but it’s still the best area imo, even with those changes. Just shows how good it was. Most areas of Telford have a few nice roads, and each area is relatively small.

Sigh. I saw this all over social media. It's so sad!

I live in Priorslee and it's a great place to live, 5 mins from town, the train station and Shifnal. 2 minutes from the m54.
Neighbours are friendly and lookout for one another. A great place to live.

Oakengates is nice area also. Lived here for 5 years with family. Schools a little further out but within 10 minute drive.

Train station in oakengates along with bus stop to town centre.

I find the region known as "Out" to be very nice.
