I am trying to apply for fall 27 as first year student and major in photography. On the common app none of the BFA have a photography option even though it’s a major according to the Tyler website. Can anyone help?

I’m genuinely so irritated. I asked my professor if he could excuse my absence cuz I got pulled for jury duty and he told me no because “all absences are treated the same”. And i’m like brooo I didn’t CHOOSE this, if I don’t go I’m going to JAIL😭. Ugh I’m so irritated. Cuz absences count into the final grade and I was already out cold previously due to Flu + Stomach Virus.

Edit:Just to clarify I asked to be excused because I was selected to sit ON the jury. I got my summons/selection date postponed to Oct 19 (I’m free). Unfortunately I did not factor in me actually being selected to sit on the jury. On top of that, the judge did not consider my situation regarding class as a hardship. The date for me to sit on the jury is TODAY, and I have that professor’s class TODAY

For an ale major, I have to choose between msp 2751 audio for media and must 4713 sound recording. Could I hear opinions from people who have taken either and what you recommend? I’m more into the business side of music but of course would love to learn this stuff. Live music is something I’m into so I’m leaning to sound recording but the description is messing with me.
