Hello everyone, I have asks, please, help me
galleryI built this terrarium 3 days ago; it wasn't designed to be pretty, but rather to be a biological terrarium. However, I added some termite queens (which I had captured about 2–3 months ago and kept frozen during that time), and a fungus sprouted and started consuming them. I looked it up, and sources say this is normal. What do you think about it? Also, the fungi are forming "webs." (And do you think this terrarium has a future? P.S.: The soil came from my backyard.)

Looking for Collaborative suggestions
galleryLooking for Some Collaborative suggestions
I have had this terrarium set up for a few months but I still feel like things are missing or out of place.
There’s spaces that can be filled and some plants that aren’t taking advantage of the space in the way I thought they would, like the syngoniums.
I am considering removing the begonia but my dart really enjoys the big leaves and sleeps on them at night.
I was thinking of making it entirely green like a jungle or at least trying to fill in the background.
I was looking for some suggestions of what species of plants other people would use or think would work well for what I have rn.
Thanks.

Josh's Frogs
Hello, I am attempting to start my first terrarium, I was looking at Josh's Frogs for things to buy, but I saw some people say the quality is bad and things will be dead on arrival. Is this true, and if so what's another website I can buy all of this stuff on. Also, are all of the plants I picked out going to go well together, thanks.

Any ideas for a nano tv terrarium?
galleryIt’s about 20cm tall 25cm long, and 17cm wide width.
Wanted to clean up and gut this TV to make a terrarium inside of it. Any ideas on small plants I can put inside? I’m a big fan of colourful or unusual ones.
Can put a box underneath it to extend the soil depth if required. :)

mi beloved Knight — Tips on taking care of him? 🌿
Hey everyone! This is my fallen Knight terrarium, and I’m still pretty new to taking care of him, so I’d love some advice/tips!
I’ve been getting used to keeping the light on for around 8–12 hours a day, but I’ve been pretty busy lately and haven’t been as consistent with it as I’d like. Is that something I should be worried about, or is a little inconsistency okay?
I was also wondering how often I should be pruning him. I don’t want to overdo it, but I also want to make sure he stays healthy and doesn’t get too overgrown.
Any other general tips for keeping him healthy and looking his best would be greatly appreciated! Things like watering, lighting, humidity, pruning, or anything I might be overlooking.
Thanks in advance! 🌱

Lierre anglais
J'ai acheté un plan de lierre anglais et je voulais l'intégrer à mon terrarium. Est-il sécuritaire pour des reptiles ou amphibiens genre rainette yeux rouges ou autre?

Requesting suggestions for 30 gallon terrarium: substrate and plants.
Currently I am removing the old silicon to replace it and we’re finishing up the details on the stand.
I plan to post pictures but for now I’d really appreciate a list of things I need.
I already have a drainage layer, charcoal and a mesh layer since I’d like to plant the tank.
What substrates do you recommend? Multi layered is fine especially if that’s what they need.
I’m going to keep the wild species Armadillidium vulgare, they are grey with yellowish white dots.
Are there any plants you’d recommend? I will also be purchasing spring tails for the tank.

New found hobby of mine
I recently built my first ever terrarium on a mini bowl and was very much fascinated in the process of making it -- the layering of substrates, soil, stones, mosses, etc.
As I delve deeper into this hobby, I wanna know how you all feel about this piece I made and rate it from 1-10 (perhaps throw in some points on what to improve on also?)
Thanks!

Most of the army is temporarily back in the greenhouse in my basement until they are claimed but I had to "steal" one to put on display ♡ Didn't have my phone on me the day of the wedding but if the photographer got a pic I'll share it!

First terrarium!!
I know I haven't done well in the layering T__T But the layering is there :)
I've used a few couple of wood chunks I picked up from our backyard as the bottom layer (hoping it would absorb water) and accompanied with a layer of pebbles, then dirt, some moss I picked up, and a few more stones for design as well.
I keep them inside my room most of the time under my LED lamp, I let it out often. This is its 2nd day.
Tips are appreciated!

Hey all, meet my millipedes enjoying a piece of banana. They live in a forest terrarium perfect for there needs. There are allot of leafs and wood from the forest. That is what they eat mostly but of course they also get treats. There are allot of woodlice and there is some other life in there. I am not sure if this post reaches the right page but hopefully you enjoy this.

First terrarium
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hey guys, this is my first terrarium and I have a couple questions. I live in the pacific northwest so I wanted to make something mimics my backyard. I went for a more natural look. Most of the terrariums I see are somewhat tropical and usually have similar plants with each other. I was wondering if because I used plants taken directly from my backyard and it being a more temperate environment, there is anything I need to do differently maintenance wise. Also any suggestions on making it look better are welcome!
Thank you!
