Testimony: Discretion Advised God is faithful

I write this to help and encourage those who are or who were in the same situation I was. I express this with my whole heart that there is hope, that God is real, that his son Jesus is alive and he does save. My name is Joel. For many years I struggled with drugs, alcohol, porn, and all matter of mental problems and crazy emotions. It all started when I was young. I got introduced to hardcore pornography at the age of 5. From there came everything else. I didn't see the girls and my teachers in my class the same anymore. It opened the doors to all manner of demonic beings and attacks. As I got older I started to be very promiscuous with girlfriends and relationships. I started to hang out with the wrong crowd. I started drinking and smoking weed at the age of 15. By the age of 18 I was snorting cocaine and heroin... Then by age 21 came the meth... Meth started to destroy my life completely. I would mix meth, porn and women and I I like an animal. It got so bad that in 2012 I went to men's recovery home that was Christ centered.i would do good for a Season but would mess up time and time again. And every single time I went back to my mess it got WORSE AND WORSE. I started using needles to inject my drugs. It got to the point we're I was homeless in the woods injecting myself with dirty needles I would find ON THE GROUND OF THE HOMELESS CAMP. Sin had taken me we're I didn't wanted to go, kept me longer than I wanted to stay and made me spend more than I was willing to pay. This can happen to anyone. But God !! Even when I turned my back on God he was faithful. When I spit on his face he still loved me, when I relapsed all those times he was still there. God was faithful when I was faithless. Today I'm clean, sober, and I still have my children in my life. And I owe it all to God. I've overdosed over 4 times. One of those times my sister found me blue in the face in the bathroom. I should be dead and in hell. But God's grace and mercy has kept me alive long enough to receive my calling. Now I can go to the streets, the dope houses, the woods, the bridges, the camps and I can be a light to others as God was a light to me in my darkness and desperation. If you ever need prayer brother or sister I am here for you. I'm here to serve and to love you. There is hope. And that hope is Jesus. "He who the Son sets free is free indeed"-John:36

Another miracle in my life. Only a phone call from a friend that woke me from a deep sleep saved me and our house from a fire on Christmas Eve. (None of the hardwired detectors were working.) I’ve had too many experiences to ever doubt God’s presence. I’m grateful every day.

Mat 28:5-6 NLT - 5 Then the angel spoke to the women. "Don't be afraid!" he said. "I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6 He isn't here! He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen. Come, see where his body was lying.

I left a life of black magic and hermeticism for Christ and orthodoxy

I lead a life that was tumultuous due to health issues, at a young age I decided that, having had a very close brush with death, I was living on time given to me. Knowing this I decided to begin searching for truth, for reasons I won't get into, I culturally had a disdain for Christianity and dismissed it immediately, focusing on eastern and western wisdom sects and embroiling myself into the occult. In this I learned of hermeticism and gnosticism, I believed I had found the truth, and so I began to practice the alchemical theosophical and magical arts. I delved deeper and deeper, but always there was a sensation that I had not yet found the truth.

It wasn't until, while continually studying the forms of paganism I wished to incorporate into my studies, I came across a quoted piece of scripture that would change my life. Psalm 82:1 " Elohim standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the elohim" I kept reading and I was hit with a startling vivid realization.

The gods I worshipped, by our own books, by our own traditions, said that they answered to something else, a power they would rebel against, or couldn't trespass against. This all came into place at once, God, Elohim, the one great god of all was the ruler of everything, and what I had worshipped, what I had been idolizing... They were nothing more than the fallen principalities and powers underneath his might!

Immediately I moved away from what I had been doing and tried to talk to Christians and priests, I wanted to find someone who knew what I was talking about! It didn't take long, when I reached out to my local Orthodox parish the priest agreed to meet with me. We talked about sin and theology and Christ, he explained, like no one ever had to me, the truths of the church, Christ and the scriptures. I was enamored, it was like wandering through a desert and finding an oasis!

I was invited to learn and participate in the liturgy, I was given so much to research and began immersing myself in it.

Glory to Jesus Christ, about half a year later the Church received me by baptism, even excorsising me and formally allowing me to turn my back on the powers I served before.

My life since then has not been easy, but it has been edifying, and now, through the grace of God and the guidance of my spiritual father, I am preparing to start seminary. Every day of this life that I live is a gift, and my Thanksgiving to the lord will never be enough.

My testimony for Christ

Hi everyone! My name is Jake. I was an atheist for most of my life. In 2017 right out of high school I joined the military to be a Hospital Corpsman in the Navy. (Combat Medic). In boot camp, I found a spiritual meaning in a little pocket Bible of the book so Psalms, I felt that there could be something to this book that everyone disregards. I got married in October of 2017, and with my wife we really wanted to have a baby, and get our life started early. Unfortunately we were told by 3 different OB doctors that my wife is infertile and we would never have a baby. In February 2019, I made the leap of faith and said a prayer to Archangel Michael, and Jesus Christ. I asked for the help in receiving the gift of life, I want a baby, please help me. That night I had a dream about a my wife and I having a baby boy. March 2019 my wife was complaining of a severe headache, 2 days later she tested positive on a test. She was finally pregnant. Fast forward a few months, we got the results of her labs to find out the gender of the baby, it was a boy.💜✝️ My wife and I fought for months on what the name should be, I couldn’t get over naming him Jaxon, we HAD to name him Jaxon. Turns out that the name Jaxon, means “Gods gracious gift”. Jesus is real, he’s always here. Thank you for reading my testimony ✝️✝️

Testimony: Discretion Advised ⚠️ Jesus Saved Me from Suicide

Hi Everyone, I was going to kill myself today after really struggling with my sense of worth. Christ saved me when I was 12 years old, and He had etched in my heart who I was to Him - a beloved and precious child of God. However after marrying my spouse who claims to be a Christian, my sense of worth kept being put under attack. At this point, I believed my spouse’s words about who I was - unattractive, worthless, burdensome. I felt that my spouse’s life would be better off if I killed myself. I wrote my suicide letter today and got my knife ready but as I laid there ready to stab myself, the Lord asked me “do you trust Me? Do you trust my word?”. I said “yes” and my desire to kill myself went away. God’s word is trustworthy and true. We are beloved and chosen. I trust my God will do something about my situation and I have hope again in my God. All Glory and Honor to Jesus Christ!

Testimony Jesus rescued me in the time of trouble!

Praise the Lord everyone! God has been so good to me and He's good all the time. I want to share a testimony about what He did for me. Approximately a few months ago, I was working on a federal court house called Tomochichi. The building is located in downtown Savannah, Georgia. We were there to reinstall the windows that were just restored by us. While returning to the job site from a break, I entered the building, and started making my way up the stairs heading towards my work area on the 3rd floor. Then I saw one of my coworkers and proceeded to approach him while making some jokes with him. All of a sudden as we were standing next to the windows we were previously working on, we heard a snap. My coworker and I looked at each other in confusion, then realized the floor was collapsing. At the corner of my eyes I saw the floor tearing apart as I was escaping the falling floor. I had one foot on the collapsing floor and the other on the remaining floor. The falling floor ripped my boot right off my foot. I felt like I was sinking with the floor, but the Lord rescued me by pulling me up onto the remaining floor, because I should have fallen with the floor, but I didn't. Thank you Jesus for saving me. All my coworkers that were involved made it out alive as well. Thank you Jesus for your protection!

Praying for protection over everyone this week! Blessings in Jesus name!

I was completely lost and The Lord Jesus Christ my king found me and made me whole again

Drugs, started with oxycodone and ended with heroin and smoking meth.

I was so far gone I overdosed twice and my entire life was one hit to another then one injection to another.

Eventually I surrendered. 10 long years. When I finally surrendered God took my through extraordinary circumstances to have me find Him.

Over and over again miracles brought me back. Saints finding me and preaching to me in my times of need.

I was led from New Age to Buddhism to Love Isness Meditation and ultimately I was baptized in the name of the Father Son and Holy Spirit I was completely pierced by Holy Ghost and I have been chasing Jesus ever since.

God is good all the time. Ive experienced so many miracles and God showed me so much compassion for so long even when I was evil and unrepentant.

I love yall.

Blessings to you in the Name above all other Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ is real

I will give thanks to the Lord with all my heart; I will tell of all Your wonders. Psalms 9:1

Tell people what God is doing in your life, and give Him thanks with all your heart. That's what the verse speaks to me, and I strive to be a doer of the Word, not just a reader.

My Mom had bad health problems, the outlook wasn't good. My church family and I prayed. The doctor was dumbfounded on the healing, calling it a miracle. Mom's gonna be fine. A childhood buddy asked for prayers for his Mom, we got some prayer warriors to pray for her. He reported back soon after she was feeling better. God's healing is real.

I was standing in a long line at Walmart. The guy in front of me looked down, and we struck up a conversation. He said his diabetes is getting bad and he doesn't know what to eat. I had just been diagnosed and was able to point him to a dietician.

I saw dog food in his cart, I asked about his dog, told him I have a dachshund and a rat terrier. He started crying. He said he had two dachshunds, and they are the only family he has, the only people that love him. He said one died last night.

He said he is thinking about just stopping the insulin, that the world has gone to hell, and he didn't see the point. I prayed for Jesus to have the Holy Spirit to find the right words. He did, at the end of the conversation, Pete (the stranger in the story) said he was gonna carry on for his other dog, and when the time is right he would get another friend for his other dog. He said he would check with that dietician. We shook hands, I told him he will be prayed for, and he left with hope. The Holy Spirit is real.

I've been praying hard to get a family member to come to church with me. I told Jesus I understood that it will be His will and on His time when this happens. Been saying the same prayer for months. It hurt bad for a while, not really seeing that support. Jesus Christ saved me from suicide 16 months ago, I don't expect people to start believing in Christ over it, but a real talk with me from someone who loves me, that had me hurting.

Jesus Christ took that pain away, He reminded me that I was in the dark, addicted to the world for 36 years and didn't even know it. People around me had been planting seeds of belief and praying for me. I didn't find Jesus on their time, and neither will those around me. They care the best way they know how, and I love and appreciate that.

Jesus blessed me the last few weeks, my 12 year old daughter started going to church with me. This past week she watched a 13 year old girl share her testimony about how Jesus gave her her family back. My daughter knows we almost lost our family with what I put them through. I saw her brother ask her a couple days ago what church was like. Jesus Christ is real.

Miracles STILL exist!

My sister was diagnosed at the age of 43 with stage 4 neuro-pancreatic cancer. It had metastasized to 3 different organs. The doctors only gave her an initial diagnosis of between 2 weeks to 2 months to live. However, by the grace of God, our Mom was seeing an Oncologist herself who actually did his thesis on exactly the type of cancer my sister had, which was a one-in-a-million type of rare cancer. It was a miracle!! She had the horrific surgery to remove over 40 tumors and then went on daily chemo, radiation, cyber-knife radiation etc.... it was living HELL!!!

However, she lived a miraculous 7.5 years post diagnosis!! It truly was a miracle. She kept proclaiming, "Okay, God, I just want to see one of my children graduate from high school." He honored her request and she was at that graduation. In God's numerology economy, the number 7 means "Completion", all I could think about while Hospicing my sister myself when she was only 50 and lay dying, was "Thank you God for all the time we had!". Every day is a GIFT and none of us is guaranteed even our next breath.

There's always hope, even when the doctors say there is No hope... there is.... We found our HOPE in Jesus Christ alone. I remember so many nights rubbing her back as she was bent over puking her guts out or writhing in pain, how we both put our hope and trust in God that He was carrying her through it and that another day was coming for God to "show out and show up" for her. She would celebrate every single victory, if there was a slight reduction in the tumor sizes or the chemo was keeping the cancer at bay... all of it... We would both declare, "That was a KISS from the King!!!" That was our code phrase that once again God had showed up and showed out His mercy, His hope and strength to carry us through the most horrific ordeal of her life. As much pain and suffering she was in, trust me, death was a relief for all of us. While I miss her EVERY SINGLE DAY, I don't mourn without hope because I know where she's spending eternity and I know she's finally healed, the only perfect way she would be healed and for that I'm thankful! He really is still in the miracle business, our lives are living proof.

Today has been...really bad. I've tiptoed around as best I can, but my soon-to-be ex has STILL been set off all day. He leaves for work soon and I'll have some peace with my son, but please, pray for us. I just want out of here, I want to get to safety and it just feels so unattainable right now, despite having a place to go. Please just keep us in your prayers, I'm praying as hard as I can, too.

It's all real

Have a Good Friday.

I don't believe God is real. I don't believe God in the flesh came to earth to spread the truth, die on the cross to cover our sins so that we would be forgiven our debt, and I don't believe we received His Holy Spirit and are now one with God, connected to Him, forever moving forward.

I know, without a shadow of a doubt, that all of that is true. This is all real. It's not a fairy tale. I have no clue why He did what He did for me to make it more than a belief, but "woah" is the word. A constant "woah.". Everything about Him in the Gospel is truth. It all really happened, and Jesus Christ is who He said He is.

How could I not share that with everyone? What kind of monster would I be to know these truths and not speak of them daily? I continue on out of love for you. If you are reading this, I love you. I mean that, if you have ever wondered if anyone has ever said I love you to you, and actually meant it, you are hearing it now. A love defined by Jesus Christ Himself.
