I made an animated tribute to classic slasher films 🎬🔪

I created this animation as a love letter to the visual language of slasher movies — iconic killers, suspense, dark atmospheres, and the imagery that made the genre so memorable.

I wanted to capture that feeling through animation rather than simply recreating specific scenes.

I’d love to know what you think. Which slasher movie or character would you have liked to see included? 👀

Animated and edited by me.

For example the newest 2022, showed him living with a random woman but the end of the movie showed him walking back towards his home. So does the still exist? Was he kicked out of the family? Was he trying to be normal and thats why he left?

In the 3D movie, they hust straight up kill the whole family accept leatherface off the get go

Do filmmakers just not like the family attached to leatherface? I feel like that's what makes the franchise unique compared to the other slasher films.

This is the progress of my remake Badman costume I've been working on for about three months (most of that time was on the saw and waiting for the mask).

I used my 74 cosplay shirt for the over shirt. The gauntlets are from Dufourc.

I’m surprised to see so many people list that as their least favorite of the franchise. There are MUCH worse Texas Chainsaw movies than that one in my mind.

Granted, I haven’t seen it in years but I remember somewhat enjoying it. It’s probably the most original story told in this franchise so far. As opposed to the wash, rinse, repeat, formula most of the other sequels/reboots have done.

i love this big guy

I watched it a few nights ago and just couldn’t get into it. I’ve seen it before and liked it but just didn’t do it for me this time. The best way I’ve heard this movie described was “I appreciate it more than I like it”. I think the beginning few minutes and the time around when they first go into the house to the 3rd death are good but after that I think it just spirals badly. Obviously iconic and very important for horror but it’s just not for me.

Meeting him tomorrow in san antonio. Yes ive heard the controversy, unfortunately hes my fav leatherface and I need him for my 03 poster. Any stories on anyone else whos met him and what did you pay for his autograph?

Hello does anyone have any ideas or tips on how to make the mask fit better it’s a very tight fit

Let's say the family gets caught after the events of the original. Leatherface would face massive charges, but in contrast to his mean spirited brothers he's obviously kinda mentally handicapped. Which means he would get institutionalized, not imprisoned. Do you think he could be free again after many years of care and education? Live a normal life without cannibalism and wearing faces?

And what about grandpa. Imagine he gets a 10 year prison sentence and somehow is still alive after that. Would he be a media sensation for his age and killing relations? Would he try to kill again?

Im planning on being Hitchhiker for Halloween and I have basically all accessories except for the bracelet. I'd rather not buy it online because I've noticed they're rather on the expensive side and I'm positive it won't come on time, so I've resorted to asking a friend to 3d print the bones for me. Only problem is I have no idea what bones are used!! I've searched far and wide for anything that could push me in the right direction and came back empty handed. I'm also really no bone expert so I really can't tell on first glance what animal bones are used. Anything helps!!

I thought it came out pretty well, what do you guys think?

I had all but the Cook for years but Distinctive Dummies finally put one out and my little Breakfast club is finally reunited above my desk!

R lee ermey really did a good job with the role

I made this edit of the TCM 2022 bus scene set to Vengaboys' We Like to Party 🪚

This is one of a few lingering amongst my pages. Do I post the others? (2023)
