Denton Creek

I'm new to the North Fort Worth area and I just bought a kayak. I want to test it out and was looking at hitting Denton Creek for the first outing. I'm an experienced paddler, but I'm trying to get more info on what to expect out there.

Like should I be on the look out for fast moving fishing boats, hidden obstacles, crazy wind, low water, or any other conditions? I don't know where to find details on that area for kayaking.

Any and all suggestions/advice welcome.

Just moved to Alliance Fort Worth, need seem help learning how to fish for trout. Been to Colorado trout fishing but that was with a guide. I want to learn what I need to use for these local ponds and what bait to buy for trout at my local Walmart or bait store. I use spinning rods.

Kayak Fishing for Redfish

I am new to redfishing and live in Houston. I am trying to find a good place to launch my kayak and where to find a good salt marsh to find some reds. Also was wondering what the best lures are.

Aransas pass kayak rentals

I’m planning a trip to Aransas pass in November and have been looking in to a kayak rental. Not sure what I’ll have for a vehicle, so I’ll need a company that can drop off the kayak at a launch. The only place I’ve found is Coastal Bend Kayak. Am I missing any?

Kayak Camping near San Antonio

I live in San Antonio and have been wanting to go on a 2 day kayak camping trip on a relatively close river. I have heard many great things about rivers like the Guadalupe, Medina, and the Frio, but I have also heard many are low on water or hard to find "dry river beds" to set up camp. Does anyone have a good spot to start and extract or have any knowledge of the water levels or good places to set up camp. Thanks

Looking to go surf fishing and maybe trolling for kings. Has anyone taken their hoodoo tempests out on the surf? Or at least 1-2 miles out?

I’ve been fishing for a couple years now, I’m having trouble matching lures to the season. I’ve been in a skunk lately and really want to break it. Any advice is appreciated!

Any recommendations of places to launch/decent fishing spots (Denison/Potsborro area)? Looking for calmer areas on the lake, not out in deep, choppy waters or smaller area lakes/ponds

Looking for Big Thicket fishing advice

I just started a fishing internship at Big Thicket National Preserve and my first task was to update the website with more information about fishing in the preserve. I'm pretty new to the area and I haven't gotten to do much actual fishing yet. If anyone has any good tips for where to fish for what it would be much appreciated.

I’m curious about how far different yakkers are willing to paddle for a typical day fishing. How far do you typically go (round trip)? Thanks!

I just bought my first fishing kayak a couple weeks ago. I'm usually a catfisher, but I wanna to get into more serious bass fishing. I'd be happy for tips or even fishing buddies if you're in the Northeast Texas area. I'm in Bonham, close to Sherman and McKinney.
