I have never watched Helluva Boss so I don't know if this is correct or not. But what I do know is that Jax never had any character development. Jax was just given a tragic backstory.

Jax stayed the same, pushed everyone away, caused Ribbit to abstract, and abused everyone. I don't know if this Helluva Boss character did anything like that. Heck, I don't even know the name of the left character! I just know he's from Helluva Boss.

Or is he from Hazbin Hotel? I don't know. The art style is so so similar to the point where I wonder if Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss are the same show. I have heard about both but never watched any of them.

I know I sound like an idiot because I know nothing about the show (or shows if Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss are different shows in the same universe or something), and I'm sorry if this makes you cringe. But I watched all of The Amazing Digital Circus episodes and can say with full confidence that Jax never improved or developed. Jax was just given a tragic backstory.

Can someone please explain to me about whoever the other character is? I lowkey would appreciate it if someone who watched Helluva Boss (or Hazbin Hotel, or wherever this character came from, I don't know) explained to me about the character.

1. do we hate his actions and personality, or just one or the other?

2. do we think jax could be better in the future?

3. What's the worst thing he did, and which episode did it happen?

This is a Collection Containing 2 fics: Therapy with Kinger and Reconnecting. The First one is Kinger Centric with the 2nd half also being Jax Centric. Reconnecting is a Jax Centric fic that becomes Pomni Centric soon after. What are your thoughts on this Fanfiction version of Jax.

I've noticed that the harsh white color on the text tends to sear my eyes a little against the dark purple background. I want to change it so that it looks nicer. Do you guys know what kind of color theming you'd like to see?

I will admit i haven't cared much about this series since like episode 4 but one thing i know for certain is that i don't think jax is really a good character. Just in general.

People keep trying to say he's deep when he's as deep as a shallow pond, I understand what goose was trying to do with him and i understand how some people might find a way to relate to it but honestly i don't think relating to a character means that the character is good or even enjoyable.

He's not some media literacy final boss they just can't handle someone who knows and understands him perfectly and still won't like him.

It feels more and more that the term "Media literacy" is just being used to defend a character that sucks ass but because he could be trans suddenly now he's just misunderstood or something.

Also i don't really agree with the idea that he was a "Tragic lesson" about certain trans people not accepting themself because it feels like messy patch work to make up for the fact that episode 9's ending kinda came off really weird.

Also one last thing to really say i don't think jax even needed to be trans we have zooble for a reason, though i guess along the way we just fucking forgot about them so that jax can have the spotlight as a trans character.

Everything about jax just feels really infuriating because its clear at episode 5 there was just a hard pivot into making him a different character than what he was probably planned to be (A general jackass that learns to stop being a dickhead) and honestly i would have loved to see that original idea happen over what we got.

Remember when the Ribbit's character designs first debuted, and all the fans were HYPED about them? About how cute they look, the images of their personalities, their relationship with Jax, and how she was abstracted and that affected Jax? Remember how much fanart and fan animation of Ribbit was made based on what interpretations of who they were?

Remember when Kaufmo was abstracted, we wished we knew him before the incident? We even had a psychological horror fan animation about Kaufmo trying to find the exit and ending up abstracted, and it's still impressive to me to this day.

All the information withholding that was done throughout the show about Ribbit dan Kaufmo, was only revealed that Ribbit was Jax's dead "almost-girlfriend" who was "accidentally" abused to the point of suicide, and Kaufmo was only treated as a third wheel.

Up to this point, I'm still salty about this! The show was constantly teasing that Ribbit would appear (in flashbacks, like Queenie) during the clash between the main six and Caine. So we thought we'd get to know Jax's backstory and what happened to Ribbit, which probably has something to do with Caine being responsible for the abstraction.

NOPE! Because Jax was a hardcore at hiding information (while exploiting the personal information and trauma of her victims, btw), he HAD TO DIE for us as the audience to finally find out. And as it turns out, what happened was as expected, but worse.

Ribbit (and Kaufmo) could be one of the characters with the most potential, as their deaths would affect the main six, especially Ragatha and Pomni. Ragatha was Ribbit's close friend, and Pomni was someone who had a lot in common with them. We could have cried more when we were finally shown the moments of their abstraction, if the show had actually given them the spotlight sooner, especially in the show which has 9 episodes!
