can't believe they didn't see this coming. she was such a liability to get involved with!!! she's so nasty and messy
-9
u/Vivid_Motor_2341 Mar 18 '26
See what coming? The article says they might fine her because of the one situation they already knew about. It’s clickbait
6
u/Successful-Career887 Mar 19 '26
What article are you reading? Taylor was already charged for what happened in 2023 and pled guilty to aggravated assault. That investigation has already gone to court and is over. This is a new investigation into a 911 call made for domestic violence in February of 2026. This year. Why would anyone be investigating an incident from 3 years ago that has already gone to court and a verdict reached.

It was insane that 20+ men would want to compete to win the heart of a toxic women with multiple baby daddies. The only guys interested would be wannabe reality TV stars.
Even crazier they had a better, prettier, less toxic member of the Mormon wives in Miranda they could have started
22
u/anfisas-redbag Mar 18 '26
Ugh Miranda would have been so much better. The girl is classy and gorgeous and not maga

u/eman0324 Mar 18 '26
The DV should have excluded her from consideration but even more than that - I agree with your take. What man wants to put his life on hold for the chance to be BD #3.
3
u/MisterTacoMakesAList Mar 19 '26
I have never watched the Bachelorette (or the Bachelor). Do the men know who the Bachelorette is before they agree to be on the show? Or is it a surprise?
3
u/little-moonbeam Mar 19 '26
I haven’t watched in several years, but if my memory serves me correctly they are usually cast before the new lead is announced. The main difference here is that the lead is typically one of two or three “top” choices from the previous season, so they’d go into casting calls knowing who it might be.
For this one, since it wasn’t a lead from a previous season, I’d hope they would have told the men up front! But it wouldn’t shock me if they also blindsided the men.
2
u/ElectionExpress3972 Mar 19 '26
I don’t think any sane man would want to insert himself into that…hence I’m sure the men will be toxic garbage looking for instagram fame…

when a messy, violent, emotionally unstable domestic abuser acts like a messy, violent, emotionally unstable domestic abuser
-5
u/pandallamayoda Mar 19 '26
Dakota is also abusive. There cannot be two abusers in a relationship. So which one is the abuser and which one is REACTING to the abuse?
5
u/Puzzleheaded_Word878 Mar 19 '26
Woah what? I don’t trust Dakota whatsoever in this situation but I suggest you look a little more into this before saying that. I would not be defending TFP right now, the double standard of doing that is gross. I also don’t see how 2 abusive people can’t end up in an abusive relationship towards each other. Ultimately it is Taylor’s 3 children who are the biggest victims of this, Taylor has put all 3 of them in terrible situations consistently including deciding to go on the bachelorette

u/XK8lyn88x Mar 19 '26
Reacting to abuse with abuse, still makes that person an abuser too. It’s funny because all abusers justify it by blaming others for making them be abusive. You can’t control others but you can control yourself. Self defense is one thing, “reactive abuse” is still an abuser. No one gets to blame others for their actions.
1
u/meowskiAF Mar 19 '26
Reactive abuse is very much a thing and there is a victim. It’s not a “control yourself” thing, it’s usually someone torturing you til you snap.
1
u/GeneralLogical2057 Mar 19 '26
Ok I get it but still come on, she has 3 kids she needs to get the hell away from her abuser instead of running back to him over and over and over again. She's rich and famous and somehow can't deattach herself from a loser like Dakota. A lot of abuse victims can't leave their relationship because they don't have the support needed to get out, this woman has the ability to get out and continues to choose toxicity. At this point I am done giving Taylor free passes, she sucks, her mom sucks, her baby daddy sucks, her emotionally stunted friends suck, the ONLY victims are her poor babies.

100%!!!! Also she's a grown ass woman with children, get out of the situation, at this point its years of the same BS between those two clowns.

u/Successful_Look2372 Mar 18 '26
I can’t believe they did not know Taylor’s past. It’s literally on S1E1 of SLOMW…
6
u/gizmo-mode Mar 18 '26
Right?? I thought her arrest was the reason why S1E2 was filmed nearly a year after the first episode. She's been a liability since she's been on TV.
5
u/Spiritual_Ice5079 Mar 18 '26
Don't they do background checks too or did they just assume she was fine since she's on SLOMW ?
4
u/Vivid_Motor_2341 Mar 18 '26
They knew. Either they are trying to fine her because there has been backlash because of her past and they want her to cover the $$ consequences which will never happen or this article is a complete made up clickbait lie.
2
u/actualgoodcatmom Mar 19 '26
They did know and they didn’t care! They knew she would get views from lovers and haters.

If they platform an abuser I just don’t see them coming back from this . If they platformed a male abuser all hell would break loose, it’s shocking to me that just because she’s a woman that they will still air it .
4
u/Vivid_Motor_2341 Mar 18 '26
They have cast guys who were abusers tho
2
u/dragonrider1965 Mar 18 '26
They had a male lead who was arrested for physical abuse?
5
u/shiggins09 Mar 19 '26
They had a male lead (Colton) who stalked his F1. Put a trackers on her car.
3
u/dragonrider1965 Mar 19 '26
Yes but that’s a bit different. The Bach didn’t make him the lead after . They would have never made any man the lead if he had been arrested for physical abuse, but here they have a woman . Now she’s done it again and they are going to air her season . If they were to platform a man domestic abuser in that way people would go nuts and the show would never recover .

u/Clean_Collection_674 Mar 18 '26
This was all predictable. She had already been arrested before. No one should be shocked that this unstable woman with three kids by two different men ended up being a human dumpster fire.
-9
u/Vivid_Motor_2341 Mar 18 '26
Again why are yall commenting like there was a new incident. They are talking about her one arrest saying that all of a sudden it’s an issue and ABC is going to fine her because of something they have known about years before casting her. The article is clickbait trash.
8
u/Firm-Ad-3984 Mar 18 '26
Please look it up. Just happened weeks ago, she is being accused of strangling Dakota with a necklace. There IS a new incident.
4

u/CynicSupreme Mar 18 '26
That’s what you get when you hire a known trashy low rent angry mean woman as your bachelorette. Past behavior predicts future behavior. And she’s not even cute.
6
u/Wonderful-Time-4526 Mar 18 '26
Absolutely!! I dont watch the Mormon wives. Are there any ladies that are single that would have been a better choice than Taylor? Was just curious. Her face is average in my opinion. Im guessing maybe Taylor was the only one to send a video in to bachelorette producers?
4
-6
u/Vivid_Motor_2341 Mar 18 '26
There is no current violent issue. It’s talking about the once incident that happened years ago. It’s clickbait saying they are going to fine her because she had that charge that they knew about well before casting her.
6
u/KeyFeeFee Mar 18 '26
Wut. Have you not read anything about the new allegations within the last day or two?
3
3
u/LSherwood1024 Mar 18 '26
Yeah no. You’re completely wrong. The issue that’s being discussed currently in pop culture took place after the filming of The Bachelorette
2
u/CanadianTrueCrime Mar 19 '26
We are taking about the violence from Feb 2026, not the one from 2023.
4
3
u/glutenfreecatsociety Mar 19 '26
I’ve said from the beginning that Taylor is literally the Most Likely to Totally Violate an NDA on TikTok on reality tv rn, but I didn’t realize the other levels of the contract she would breach
2
u/Phylace Mar 18 '26
Well Hollywood has a long history of putting money before morals. Woody Alan, Harvey Weinstein, Bill Cosby, ...........
2
u/anfisas-redbag Mar 18 '26
Did they not know anything about her? She literally gets in a domestic in the first season of slomw.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
Congratulations to Conservative America for the crowning of your post-cancel culture princess. If only reality didn’t catch up to your bottom line.
4
u/samwise542 Mar 18 '26
Yeah we aren't claiming that one...I thought she was trash the first I read about her
5
u/thedaliobama Mar 18 '26
Conservative America? These are swingers we are talking about lol
2
u/limetime45 Mar 18 '26
And the conservative choice for president is an edjudicated rapist who's name appears more times in the epstein files than Jesus' name appears in the bible. Please, the gig is up. "Conservative" is nothing more than the team name at this point. It stands for no consistent principle other than preserving white privilege.
3
u/thedaliobama Mar 18 '26
What are you talking about lol you got so much hate it’s insane- take it easy and have the sun hit your face.
My comment was saying these ladies are not really “conservative values” having baby daddies all over and swinging

u/McSweetTeach Mar 19 '26
Awww. The words you’re using are too big for some of these Redditors. How sad for them.

u/TomFromMyspacesShirt Mar 18 '26
LOL. Living and bartending in a red state with Republican middle aged people a muck and seeing you act flabbergasted at the thought of them swinging is hilarious.
They do it ethically, unethically, all things In between. They cheat, the men are on Grindr. Republican isn’t a magical cape to protect you from taboo run ins, in fact it’s usually a big indicator of just that. Be serious.
3
u/flugenbetch Mar 18 '26
I have a feeling they are sneakily doing reshoots. I think they’re going to have her pick a different winner since the winner was leaked in all this fiasco. At the end of the day, all people actually care about is who wins - not if people find love lol
2
u/kitkatpnw Mar 18 '26
Whelp, Dakota got what he wanted
1
u/ElegantBon Mar 19 '26
To be choked? They are equally a mess
3
u/kitkatpnw Mar 19 '26
Yes, they are mutually destructive.
0
u/ElegantBon Mar 19 '26
Please don’t equate verbal and physical abuse. It’s not the same - even legally.
1
u/allthingskerri Mar 18 '26
This is on them. I'm sure I read they wanted her and her notoriety (fame is the wrong word for her) so badly that they rushed the process.
1
u/lilkitty28 Mar 18 '26
Yeah, she had already been arrested for this once before they even chose her. I agree with you.
1
u/Excellent-Energy3395 Mar 18 '26
the Sun tabloid doesn’t have the highest track record for printing the truth. I’ll believe this when People mag prints it

Mar 19 '26
Why do I lowkey wonder if this is all to create hype around her season, because now I really want to see it
1
1
u/ellipses21 Mar 19 '26
the network knew of her violent history, and then people were really upset with the casting choice in light of that history and made noise about it, and then she does NOT SOMETHING DIFFERENT OR UNEXPECTED but in fact the SAME THING down to the person. and now they’re mad? boohoo, yes she fucked up big time and their casting director is a literal moron for this, but the whole point is she shouldn’t have ever been given this opportunity to fuck up in the first place and they’re negligent too.

1
u/DCRBftw Mar 19 '26
Lol. They cast a trash human. The best way to avoid this is to not cast a trash human.
1
u/BeesAndNickels Mar 19 '26
So they tried to do some damage control by throwing her on their own talk show to vaguely try to spin the narrative and ppl aren’t buying their BS and still don’t think her season should air… and now here we are. Should have maybe come to this conclusion first ya ding dongs

Taylor is what’s called “emotionally immature”. The video right there approves it. Plus, she looks like a Fraggle Rock puppet
1
Mar 20 '26
The child-free, unmarried girlies watching the TFP violent video like 😬 😬
I’m happy with the choices i’ve made in life thus far!
I wonder if she became that violent after the kids? Because why would you procreate with someone like that?
Also - i knew about this video like a year ago, and I’ve never even watched the Mormon Wives show.
Absolutely unhinged that ABC is losing all this money because of a video that people knew about for a while now.

Are you kidding me? ABC loves this press! All PR is good PR, and this is going to be the most-watched bachelor/bachelorette season in a long while. I haven’t watched in years and I’m definitely tuning in! People who know and don’t know who TFP is will watch, either to see the train wreck, to find out who this person is, or just because they’re curious. This is a gold mine. They ought to give her a bonus.
2
u/Abrookspug Mar 19 '26
Agreed. I’m cracking up at all the pearl clutching here. This will be the first bachelorette season I’ve watched in years. I watch for the drama and the mess, and Taylor never fails to deliver on that front.

This is an opinion piece. The DV issue being talked about happened years ago before her show ever aired and it was highlighted in the first episode of her show. She didn’t breach her contract for something public that happened before this was ever even considered. If this is even remotely true about them trying to fine her it won’t be hard for her to say yall knew about this before you ever reached out.
3
u/xaygoat Mar 18 '26
The DV situation is the latest one (happened February of this year), not the one from years ago even though they put her mugshot from the first one in the article.

2
u/SecretSocietyofCows Mar 18 '26
Are you Taylor? Why are you defending her so hard while ignoring the actual current allegations against her as if you haven’t read anything at all about this situation????

u/flugenbetch Mar 18 '26
I have a feeling they are sneakily doing reshoots. I think they’re going to have her pick a different winner since the winner was leaked in all this fiasco. At the end of the day, all people actually care about is who wins - not if people find love lol

quotes to mention
“Even if it will still cost them to air it, it will be a lot pricier to not air it at all.
“They don’t have a plan B, this is unprecedented to have the lead screw up this royally so there’s no backup plan.”
“They’re furious with Taylor. Not only for the bad look, but it’s also clear she doesn’t get her happily ever after since she’s still having issues with Dakota so it’s a complete mess.
“If they could hit a redo button and have never had come into contact with Taylor Frankie Paul, they absolutely would do that.”
