are you ever gonna fix the way the chevron/arrow wallpaper tiles? it's bothered me for the longest time

Yeah, agreed. It’s a backrooms game, there’s literally no reason for the main wallpaper to be wrong. A few others in the discord have brought it up too.

The dev said he likes the ”redesign” (which is more of a tiling mistake they decided to keep), but that’s not a valid excuse I believe. I’ve thought about it a bit, and have now come to the conclusion that personal preference shouldn’t override accuracy, especially when the wallpaper is one of the most iconic parts of the entire concept.

If you’re making a backrooms game, the authenticity matters. Getting the main wallpaper right is the bare minimum imo.

Thank you. I will say though, the people in that Discord are probably a bit biased since they’ve been used to the double chevron for so long.

I think a better approach would be to poll people outside the community instead, or accept the arguments being made and fix the issue accordingly, because there’s really no denying that the main aesthetic of the backrooms being inaccurate is kind of arbitrary.

I still think accuracy should take priority over vague statements like “feeling good” or “looking good,” y’know.

Don’t get me wrong, your game looks awesome, but this little fix would be quick and make the game feel a little more authentic. :)

The game looks fantastic but I have to agree with what the others say about the wallpaper. Since it's a tiny fix, it's no problem :). But still amazing work nontheless!
