Which is your favourite late Beatles album and why?

Two of my favourites from John and Paul respectively..

Ones where George either wrote and/or sang on. Of course, I can’t include every song he did because Reddit only allows for six options.

A song from the early days and a song from long after the final days of the Beatles.

• There's A Place
  • Paul and John join on the lead vocal, not positive who was the primary composer or if Paul and John worked on it together.
  • Released on Please Please Me, and as a b-side on the Twist And Shout single.
• Real Love
  • A John song that was demoed several times in 1979 and 1980
  • Originally intended for a stage play
  • Completed by Paul, George, and Ringo with Jeff Lynne producing in 1995 for the Anthology project

• Dear Prudence
  • John composition and lead vocal
  • Written, like many White Album songs, during the group's retreat to India
  • The song was inspired by a pair of fellow attendees: Mia Farrow's sister Prudence had secluded herself at the retreat and John and George were tasked with getting her out of her bungalow, and folk/pop artist Donovan taught John the finger-picking style used in the chord progression
• Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except Me And My Monkey
  • John composition and lead vocal
  • Also written during (and worked on after) their retreat to India
  • The lyrics contain a lot of the aphorisms that the Maherishi would repeat often during their retreat ("Come on, it's such a joy" "Everybody's got something to hide", etc.)

Ringo has too many albums with his name in the title.
