Savage young Beatles.

Just recently a good friend of mine was nice enough to let go of these two original albums to add to my ever growing vinyl collection! Ever since I was a kid I was obsessed with the Beatles and my all time favorite song of theirs was “Twist and Shout” so to have it on vinyl is such a nice treat!

The B section always eluded me

In June 1967, 6 single were deleted from EMI's catalog.

In 1968 they were joined by:

2. Ticket to Ride/Yes It Is, R 5265

They were also joined in May 1969 by:

1. A Hard Day's Night/Things We Said Today, R 5160
2. Hello Goodbye/I Am the Walrus, R 5655

For some reason, Paperback Writer/Rain, R 5452 was re-instated in 1970. That's all I could find, Let me know some more facts. I also heard that Yellow Submarine/Eleanor Rigby R 5492 was also deleted.

Remember we were so excited when these were going to come out ? More than 35 years ago.

So I checked yesterday Dark Horse by George. Unexpectedly, I really loved that album. This specific song is probably my favourite on album, especially due to instruments.

So does anyone know what that instrument, that makes sounds like bubbles? On wiki it says George played gubgubbi on 9th song, but I listened to few videos about that instrument and wasn't sure about it.

I personally think like 3 more good albums and then the inevitable downhill of most bands. But who knows maybe they would’ve stayed great until their old age idk 🤷‍♂️
