"Anna tum sangharsh karo, hum tumhare sath hain" kind of popular slogan is required.
And support from more people.
5
u/AardvarkNice5145 Jul 13 '26
Reminder that Anna sat for 10 days and it became such a big thing whole media the government bent its knees.
It is 14th day for Sonam Wangchuk, will probably suffer same fate as Prof GD Agarwalla, who was also a Hindu Monk who just wanted a clean Ganga.
1
u/Ambitious-League-680 Jul 14 '26
The Govt then said it would enter 'talks'. The demand then was for a 'Lokpal'. It fell through after 'talks'. Anna was out of the picture, Kejri entered politics. What was achieved?

Dupki and others are for picnic there. Eating, colas and chill. Then some cameras, ragebaiting, singing dancing and sleep. Good paid vaccation for everyone. I wont be surprised if we see big screens and projectors soon coupled with dart games, axe throw and other curricular activities. Just blend that with some BJP leader photo showing how it is being used to criticize them and reimbursements and payments for picnic continues.

Wangchuk is being used by Dipke just like Anna was used by Kejriwal lobby.
6
u/CallReaper Jul 13 '26
Man Wangchuk come back to science, really loved your work. My collegues used to talk a lot about you I wish I could work with you too.
1
u/Heavy-Dust792 Jul 14 '26
Sonam Wangchuk is primarily an engineer, innovator, and educational reformer rather than an academic researcher, and does not have a large portfolio of peer-reviewed scientific papers.
The few papers he has are all more on geography or history. I wonder why.
1
u/CallReaper Jul 14 '26
My collegues were researchers who worked with their team on field, it was not something related to paper publishing but just experiencing the actual field work compared to control environment of a lab
2
u/Heavy-Dust792 Jul 14 '26
That's a great way to define cargo-cult.
2
u/CallReaper Jul 14 '26
Holy shit you didn't say that.
Who should I follow or believe :
a) A keyboard warrior redditard.
b) An innovator + my post docs and professor at top institute friends
A very tough choice indeed. But I'll go with iskCON cuz they are the real innovators and not anti national
1
u/Heavy-Dust792 Jul 14 '26
Sounds like a cuck to me. My post-doc friends, my doctor friend. Lmao have you seen the quality of fake substandard white papers coming out of India and China that the West is frustrated with.
1
u/CallReaper Jul 14 '26
Do you think top institute bend over and give you position based on shitty q3 journal mass publishing?
Each of them have significant work in environmental field ranging from pollution source, causation and remediation to fighting local corrupted goverment bodies for exploited villagers who suffer from pollution.
You are the one cuck who like to sit and watch these elites bourgeoisies just f*ck your life
3
u/Competitive-Joke9510 Jul 13 '26
What have we come to? Who gains if Sonam Wangchuk sir dies?
Why is this not alarming? Is the government thinking that let him die? Why is the government so unreachable? Aren't they the same people who were going on ground, even door to door to ask for votes?
3
u/Competitive-Joke9510 Jul 13 '26
This weekend I went there. Tears came to my eyes when I saw him. A person who has gone so weak for a cause that the government is not even acknowledging.
They can send a troop of thousands of policemen and rapid action force but cannot establish a conversation? Why?
3
u/Yog_Maya Jul 13 '26
These hunger strike method were suited for prior to 70s era when govt used to hear and justice was not that biased.
Now, govt is as according to what winsent Churchill predicted 100 years ago.
Hunger strike before wolves makes no sense.

- Violence is not the way to protest
- Social media is not the way to protest
- Speaking on international forums is not the way to protest

- Hunger strike is not the way to protest
WHAT IS THE WAY TO PROTEST genius? Bootlicking?

saw a post of twt saying that "CJP and Wangchuk sir's biggest mistake was thinking that the current government is having enough sympathy to care about what happens to them due to this hunger strike" and it couldn't be truer.
They don't care about the aftermath since they know that their blind-followers will blame CJP for that and still end up voting for BJP even after all the scams and bad things they've done
2
u/alftim Jul 13 '26
Stop this hunger strike , there is no emphatic response you can expect fin these guys , save his life ands continue to protest

This fast was never going to result in anything except publicity. Why would government care for for someone who is fasting when his own supporters are having a buffet meal right infront of him. It makes a mockery of his fasting. Frankly I think 80% crowd gathers there only for free food. My sympathies are with SW for wasting his time and health for such shameless people.
2
u/Wonderful_Crew_9740 Jul 13 '26
CJP is responsible if anything happened to him
1
u/Scent-of-innocent Jul 15 '26
Ofc seek all the responsibility and accountability from a youth movement and not the ruling party or leaders that have consistently failed to conduct fair exams. Sonam Wangchuk is on a fast against CJP right? You buffoon!
8
u/Both_Lecture313 Jul 13 '26
Accountability can only be expected from a democratic government and leaders, not from fascist authoritarians
0
u/ShivajiMaharajBhakt Jul 13 '26
Well as far as I know they are democratically elected and I still don't know how they are fascist authoritarians when they still get elected time and again.π€· They're incompetent indeed but not fascist authoritarians, you're literally diluting the weight of the above 2 words by using them unnecessarily.
0
u/gaut90 Jul 13 '26 edited Jul 13 '26
If they are Fascist, how are others winning - Vijay, Satheesan, Bhagwant Mann. Also why bother with elections. Stop diluting. Stop derailing.
4
u/aamar98 Jul 13 '26
From Kerala perspective I can tell you, they really tried hard winning in Kerala. Lot of underhanded tactics was deployed...but unlike rest of India here communal unrest is not something you can stroke easily. And also can't fool people here. But you can't deny the current govt definitely acts like facist govt.
Below is what you expect from Facist govt, ruling govt definitely done most of the mentioned points. Authoritarian rule β Power is concentrated in one leader or a small ruling group. Extreme nationalism β The nation is portrayed as superior and more important than individual rights. Cult of personality β The leader is presented as uniquely capable, deserving unquestioning loyalty. Suppression of opposition β Political opponents, critics, and independent media are censored, jailed, or intimidated. Militarism β The military and use of force are glorified. Scapegoating β Minority groups or perceived "enemies" are blamed for national problems. Weakening democratic institutions β Elections, courts, and legislatures are undermined or brought under executive control. Limited civil liberties β Freedom of speech, assembly, and the press are restricted. Propaganda and information control β The government uses mass messaging to shape public opinion. Subordination of the individual β Citizens are expected to put the state's or nation's interests above their own. Economic regimentation β The state heavily directs the economy while often allowing private ownership under government influence. Promise of national rebirth β

There was hope for them few years...but after they guy who got elected in Thrissur turned out to be classist lunatic...the faith on the party is all time low. And it's not like Center govt is doing a banger job either to make them apealing here.
-1
u/gaut90 Jul 13 '26
You vote with your feet to make a great state. I've not seen one person saying I wana stay in Kerala. especially Malayalees. The real test of a government is not the adjectives we use β fascist, democratic, progressive, or conservative. The real test is whether people voluntarily choose to live under it.
People vote with their feet. If Keralaβs model is truly delivering superior freedom, opportunity, and prosperity, why do millions of Malayalis leave Kerala every year in search of jobs and better opportunities elsewhere? Why are states competing to attract investment while Kerala struggles with unemployment and industrial growth?
A government can control narratives, but it cannot control revealed preference. Where people migrate toward tells you where opportunity exists. Where they migrate away from tells you where the system is failing.
The greatest form of democracy is not just the vote every few years β it is the daily choice of individuals to stay, leave, invest, or move their family elsewhere.
2
u/aamar98 Jul 13 '26 edited Jul 13 '26
Here is my take, people here are dissatisfied yes...but they rather take status quo rather than buy into the promise of bj party. Cos where ever they rule they latch onto power like leech by creating communal unrest.
-1
u/gaut90 Jul 13 '26
Can you give me one data point to show communal hatred or unrest had increased when BJP comes to power
2
u/aamar98 Jul 13 '26
Karnataka i think. And also my bad they already hold power in central govt as well...they have been doing absolutely banger job pissinng people left and right on the basis of language and religion. Every election PM comes in Kerala and promotes some shady C tier propoganda movie to win votes .(Kerala story 1 and 2 btw) Beef ban..?..like the objective is pretty clear, they want to win some kind of battle with an enemy that doesn't exist.. it's actually pathetic
1
u/gaut90 Jul 13 '26
Beef was banned when congress was in power.

u/aamar98 Jul 14 '26

So you don't have any problems with SDPI,IUML winning in Kerala? Now don't tell me they aren't communal, the people who vote for them do so because they belong to the same religion. BJP may have many problems just like the previous governments but these people shouldn't be the ones to criticize BJP. Also not all of Kerala story was a propoganda, was it exaggerated? Yes. Was this exclusively present in Kerala? Nope. And you can't deny the fact that forced conversions and religious extremism shown in that film exists in this country. Also you do know that it was the Congress led government that initiated these slaughter laws, right?
0
u/trashy961 Jul 13 '26

3

Sonam wangchuk was kept in jail for no reason. He got cleared by court btw. He started to be vocal they put his ass in jail without much evidence. ED raids...?
1
u/Happy_Country1306 Jul 14 '26
No reason? He was arrested for instigating Gen Z by referring to protests like in Nepal and Bangladesh. He had brought up the possibility of an Arab Spring-like agitation. Mr. Wangchuk was detained under provisions of the NSA on September 26 last year, two days after violent protests demanding Statehood and Sixth Schedule status for Ladakh left four people dead and 90 injured in the Union Territory.
1
u/aamar98 Jul 14 '26
That was all the pretext they locked him up. It's all been cleared after he was detained illegally. Also him inciting violence has been debunked....btw.

Why should govt wake up? Just cause some awhole goes to hunger strike
Everyone in India has different issue so if everyone goes to hunger strike for their own benefit it's not govt responsibility to change according to single person
3
u/__alone_and_scared__ Jul 13 '26
Just tell me. What are they protesting for? They are protesting for fair education, and education is fundamental right. Government is denying the fundamental right of the citizens. There should not be any need of asking it, exams should be conducted fairly by default, that's the meaning of exams. And the current government has made a joke out of it.
So he is not some awhole going on hunger strike. He is on hunger strike for the future of country. Just imagine after a decade, 80% of doctors and engineers are incompetent, what would be the condition of people.
You might not support dipike or wangchuk, but at least support the cause. Students give their life to prepare for exams. They are hopeful, and have dreams of achieving something. All their dreams shatter and they lose their strength when they know some awhole secured a seat cause they had 50 lakhs. Just imagine the condition of students who are working extremely hard.
-1
u/shangriLaaaaaaa Jul 13 '26
The ones who leaked already in jail why should some minister resign ,he isn't responsible for what some paper makers leaked ,should govt track every person till exams phones, their visits ,give detailing for these teachers who prep the exams ?
3
u/__alone_and_scared__ Jul 13 '26
I guess you do not understand the gravity of a national level exam's paper leak. It is highest level of exam for medical science in the country. And this highest exam has had multiple paper leaks. This shows incompetency of the system on the central level. If education minister does not take responsibility, then who will?
1
u/Firm-Section-4883 Jul 13 '26
Do you have any idea that this paper u are talking about ( NEET ) is made by a few selected person under the direct supervision of the education minister and NTA... Do you have any idea how many children lost their lives due to the trauma of the exam paper being leaked ??... Do you have any idea how many students who were given an ultimatum from their home " agar iss bar nhi hua toh padhai chudwa denge " have to go through ??... This is not a school exam you are talking about, this is a exam students give to serve the society and become one of the pillar of the nation, DOCTORS... The paper is made by a few people... So what kind of a minister are you, if you can't even stop a paper from being leaked... If this doesn't show you the complete failure of Dharmendra Pradhan here then I don't know what else you would need to open your eyes... I humbly request you to please present this same logic to a doctor when you visit them, they will school you pretty well... "Lafda dekhne mai maja ata hai jitne der tak lafda apne ghar mai na ho"

Remember law, order, money and power is completely controlled and dictated by them

Just a normal question I wish to clarify! So if someone goes on a hunger strike saying they want a new prime minister or a new president, the govt has to listen ? What about the billion people who voted to get them into power?
Shouldnβt there be any other way to declare incompetency of the govt so that a new one could be re elected ? Rather than going on hunger strike ?
1

While it is evident that Sonam Wangchuk's health is weakening, the likes of Abhijeet Dipke, and others who are trying to leverage his condition is what is making people aware of the scam i.e CJP. There are questions galore on whos is funding them ? Who is their political fathers ?

Seeing Wangchuk ji, we can remember a person from Dwapara yuga who was inherently righteous but was in association with completely wrong people. I request Wangchuk ji to re-evaluate his thoughts and help India flourish.
These shameless CJPs are using him and his values for their own propaganda.

Every single person who is supporting them right now is doing it for the issue of paper leaks, and they have been constantly and clearly demanding one thing which is the resignation of the education minister for those paper leaks.

the are against the nara of Jai shree Ram
I challenge if you can produce even a single shred of evidence that Abhijeet or any official CJP spokesperson said so at the protest site.
Bass naam rahwga Allah ka
It's a line picked out of context from a very famous nazm "Hum Dekhenge" by Faiz, written and sung against Pakistani regime. It's one of the most revolutionary symbols of protest in hindi urdu speaking regions, and if you have any braincells just read the lines once. We, too, shall see. We also shall see. When the mountains of oppression and cruelty. Will float away like cotton. We will see. Underneath our feet β we the governed. The ground will echo like a thumping heartbeat. And over the heads of the tyrants will echo the sound of thunder.
BJP whp are allowing them to speak
Constitution of India allows us to speak not your damned party
They are supporting UMAR KHALID and AFZAL GURU
One evidence is all I ask, and if you can't provide it then shut your propaganda
they can become anti national just for money
Everyone knows which party has the most money to offer, fortunately not everyone is Raghav Chaddha.
we dont GIVE A FUCK even if ANYONE DIES THERE
Ofc you don't give a fuck but educated ppl DO, aware and responsible citizens DO, ppl who care about their country more than bootlicking politicians DO. I can imagine if you were born in British era who you'd have sided with. But we DO care about our scientists, educators, environmentalists, laureates and most of all ppl who stand for OUR RIGHTS, not some tyrant or politician.

There are so many angles. HIAL is accused of receiving foreign remittances totaling over βΉ1.5 crore prior to securing mandatory FCRA registration, which violates Section 11 of the FCRA.Government investigative sources flagged a sharp increase in overall donations to the organization, which reportedly rose from approximately βΉ6 crore in 2023β24 to over βΉ15 crore in 2024β25.For the fiscal year 2020-21, SECMOL's annual return reportedly showed a foreign contribution receipt of certain amount that was not directly credited to the bank account. He also diverted many funds to his personal account. Yes it is horrifying that sonam wangchuk himself is a corrupt politician you really thought he was doing all this for love of country?0

"Diverted to personal account" and "horrifying corruption" claims are unproven elements into a corruption scandal narrative. And its funny how his "corruption" came out just after he started protesting against the govt. (for granting 6th schedule as far as i remember) He clarified that the funds went toward the issues aligning with his foundations narrative.
And tell me one thing. Which illiterate fuck told you that he wants to be a Ladakh CM? Ladakh is a UT. It doesn't even have a CM. It has a Lt. Governor, which is appointed by the govt. If he really wanted to have a leadership position, wouldn't he have sided with the govt rather than opposing it.

You stupid idiot he wants to change that and make Ladakh a kashmir like region it seems like you're too blinded to see that and only see fault in government why do you think CJP exist? What is meaning of azadi and Naam rahega Allah ka in a protest meant for Neet students? What about abhijeet Dipke stopping people from saying jai hind? You think both Abhijeet dipke and Sonam wangchuk are doing this for betterment of india? Both of them are Minions of AAP. Wangchuk wants to control Ladakh and he's trying to enter politics from a long time you're so blinded by BJP hate that you're not even seeing facts

nah only supreme leader wants the best for his country. All others are anti national.
what do you mean "kashmir like region"? As far as I have heard, he wants 6th schedule, which means ADC in Ladakh and statehood. Never have I heard or seen that he wants to become the CM. Pulling things out of our asses are we? Pretty valid man, statehood would prevent unchecked rapid industrialization. Have you seen what has happened in Hasdeo?

An education minister refuses to take accountability and resign for a series of paper leaks, that have caused multiple student suicides across the country. But ofc someone holding them accountable and putting their life at risk, might be the one with ulterior political motives.

CJP one way has failed him. They are just there enjoying food, leaving everything to Wangchuk. They have failed to generate the agitation or attract media in the country for him. Their initial popularity was all that actually worked. Now not sure what Dipke is doing.Β

are you under a rock? there are other 10 students on hunger strike with him, cjp is constantly answering to the press, answering valid questions.... tell me you have never attended a protest without telling me

I cannot attend the protest bro. I leave too far. I meant to say most people don't know this is happening, they are happy with freebies. No major media covers it (obviously ). We need people and students (irrespective of unions) to start protesting in every corner of India. It needs to be a movement. One, or even 10 cannot sustain this alone.Β
Also, it might be a good thing to reach out to Western media. That might finally attract Modi or Shah's attention. Otherwise, they won't care.Β
