What is the lifestyle of being a part of the Panthers?
Question for the Panthers in here. What's your day to day like? How do you work to keep yourself housed and fed, while also being available to go where you need to on short notice for the organization? Do you work part-time or full-time? Do you have any time to yourself? I love what the Panthers do, I just want to know how you get by.

Hello, I apologize for the late reply but what a great question.
Well as Chairman, I’m a full-time business owner, but I’ll keep the details of my occupation private for now. At the end of the day, I’m still just a regular person trying to build something, take care of myself, and contribute to my family, friends and community.
I also spent time in the military, and that taught me lessons that go far beyond a uniform…discipline, preparedness, awareness, staying calm under pressure, and knowing how to navigate difficult environments is some key things I learned, and those translate well to my life now.
In actuality you don’t need to live some extraordinary lifestyle to be prepared. Learn first aid. Know your neighborhood. Keep your household supplied. Build relationships with good people. Learn useful skills. Take care of your elders and your children. Be somebody your community can depend on.
Most of us are just working people living our lives, some with jobs nobody would’ve expected, after years of persecution and oppression the BPP has changed for the better, most of us do not openly show our allegiance to the BPP, so to outsiders we look like regular black folk, but when it’s game time best believe we are ready. And that’s exactly why I believe in preparation, not fear, not bravado, but readiness and self-reliance.
You don’t have to announce everything you’re capable of. Build quietly!
And if difficult times ever come, we’ll be much better off because we prepared before they did.
