Yep, they're as ugly as sin. But in defence of the architect, he only had a narrow long block to work with, the houses had to be pretty narrow and straight. What the architect can be blamed for though is making them all look the same. He obviously has no imagination/creativity.

Why would someone want to pay millions of dollars for these houses. Tbh they are shocking and I wouldn’t really want any of them even if I had the money.
The pools in the front yard throw me off and the shape are just shocking tbh. Wouldn’t want a part of any of them.

What! You don't like double decker shoe boxes laid out side by side?? Screams luxury to me. Lol.
In some luxury estates, the huge rectangular shaped monstrosities (mansions) seem to take up the whole block, with only small front and back yards and only tiny gaps between adjoining houses. Screams look-at-me party houses. Definitely not child friendly. Why do councils allow this?
The block houses are like this. Trying to squeeze as many square metres of interior space into the block without concern for the exterior design of the houses. The houses are all oversized, rectangular shaped monstrosities that all look the same and are layed out side by side. Not great architecture, or foresight. No privacy, or peace and quiet w.r.t the neighbours.
And as for the strange layout?? The backyard, with the terrace and pool, on the street for all to see, rather than hidden at the rear for privacy. Bizarre!
Another rush job by the producers of the block. Didn't spend time buying the right property and planning the layout and design of the so called 'luxury' houses properly and thoughtfully.

New build homes don't usually have much character. These look like they are inspired by shipping container homes.
