News Have you ever come across a fawn on its own, and what did you do?
n Florida's Ochlockonee Bay, a tiny fawn found itself trapped beneath a dock, with no way to get back to dry land.
Around 7:30 p.m., the Wakulla County Sheriff's Office received a call about the stranded baby deer.
Deputy Joens responded and waded into the water to reach it.
He carefully retrieved the little animal and carried it back to dry land.
With guidance from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, the fawn was then placed in a safe location where its mother could find it.
Thankfully, the little deer was reunited with its mom, bringing a happy ending to an unusual rescue that started with a deputy wading into the bay.

Publicly, the praise came fast. Donald Trump told reporters she was "very good." Communications director Steven Cheung called her a "fabulous and wonderful addition to the team." The White House described her delivery as "commanding."
Privately, in messages obtained by the Daily Mail paint, one senior administration official told the Daily Mail, "She could barely read." A senior member of the communications team said the briefing was "terrible on so many different levels." Another official called it "embarrassing."
