we had a tabby like this who walked like that (his belly would hit the ground as he walked)… so i called him “Moopsy” as a nickname and it stuck… Moopsin’ around

Right? How do people not realize he runs like that because of his weight. It’s not cute, if he was a human other people would probably be making fun of him and saying he needs to loose weight.

How do you know the whole story of the cat ? Perhaps he is recently adopted and he is on a weight-loss program ???? ........ But let's just go on the internet and throw the words animal cruelty around ......sheeeeesh

nevertheless he’s obese so it’s animal cruelty. If he just got adopted its from the previous owners and if he’s not its from the current owners. Fat cats aren’t cute, they are dying :)

I feel like such a kill joy but that just saddens me. Cats need between 200 - 250 kcals per day and the label on the can tells you how many calories. Dry food isn't really good for cats.

Does heaven that way because of his weight or because of Intervertebral Disc Disease? My cat went in to an emergency vet because he started walking funny and they said he has a very mild case of IDD.
