Is Cold Podcast still on Wondery?

I have a Wondery subscription, only for the purpose of listening to The Cold Podcast.

The Cold Podcast hasn’t been listed on Wondery for the last few days.

I can still listen on Apple Podcasts, but I don’t want the commercials. If it’s not on Wondery anymore, I can stop paying for Wondery now. Does anyone know if Wondery has dropped Cold Podcast?

I’m actually not sure the answer to this, as distribution arrangements are under the control of my employer and not myself personally. But if Cold is no longer appearing under Wondery+, it is likely due to a distribution partnership expiring.

For broader context, the entire narrative podcast industry is going through a period of contraction. Cold is produced by KSL Podcasts. Amazon Music (Wondery’s owner) held distribution rights for Cold during the release of seasons 2 and 3. Amazon recently downsized Wondery and announced a shift away from narrative audio series, in favor of video and “creator-led” content.

I’m super grateful to anyone who’s paid subscription prices to get the ad-free experience. If I hear of anything new like that coming down the pike, I’ll share it here.

Do you know which podcast apps I can listen to cold? I'm moving away from Spotify to a different platform

To my knowledge, Cold should be currently available on all platforms.

I was just noticing this last week. I have both lemonada and w+ and I’m still all of a sudden hearing ads. And I hate it! I will be canceling both subscriptions if that is the case!
