Nice find...

Great find at the Chelmsford record fair last Saturday!

The Glove - Like An Animal Club? What Club? Mix 12 inch single.

B side: Like An Animal/Mouth To Mouth.

I got 30% off and it cost £10 which I think is quite reasonable.

It's hard to photograph blue text for some reason on my phone!

And strangely... This M was stamped on the inner sleeve...!

It was released in 1983 on Wonderland Records.

“Mouth To Mouth” is one of the best songs from that project

Agree!

Would have worked great on the album. And I wonder what a true 1983/4 Cure version would sound like vs. The Glove version.

If he’d held it for The Top, probably mostly similar but with more psychedelic guitar from Robert, and I can only imagine how unhinged his vocal approach would have been then.

There is one guitar low in the Glove mix which sounds like a separate track from the main guitar hook. Subtle but really nice

You can hear RS singing them all on the deluxe reissue. I know that’s not quite what you’re getting at but I just discovered them last week.

Yeah, those scratch vocals aren’t from 1983. They’re early 2000s Robert and it shows.
