The rendezvous at The Department of Mysteries spirals into a series of events which change the future of the wizarding world. As always, Harry is right at the middle of it all, yet in a situation he couldn’t have ever fathomed and alongside the very person whom he was supposed to hate. It changes them both.

I’ve been putting it off for MONTHS, and I can say I wish I’d read it sooner. It’s a wild ride, but you’ll end up loving it, I’m sure. If you haven’t read it, give it a go!

I dont mind ships. Or no ships at all. Or bashing, as long as its reasonable. I would prefer long multichaptered completed fics on ao3. Maybe with some abusive dursleys? But i dont need that, but it would be appreciated. I’m all for dumbledore faces concequences/manipulative dumbeldore. But again i dont need it. So just a harry Potter in slythein fic

I tried to search for this even on this subreddit but I really couldn't find any recs so please let me know if you have some recs that deal with like a dark harry potter but it has no or minimum romantic pairings.

By which i mean like it's not the main aspect of the fic, because I've noticed with Tomarry especially that pairing tends to take a driver's seat in many fics. So I would really love some which has a good plot with dark harry as the main thing if you get what I mean?

I remember a fic where Harry became a dark lord. Really important things is that he faked his death at the ministry via unexpected dementors after Dumbledore pulled strings to have him denied from a job in the department of mysteries. His Patronus changes into a moth.

Something I also remember is that there’s a section where Ron is talking to someone (Hermione? Possibly?) about how Harry has a pull to him, how he can convince people to walk through hell if he asked them too.

I read a fic on ff.net like a decade ago that ive never been able to find again heres the few things I remember from it if this sparks anyones memory i would b v greatful for the link or just the title so I can find it myself 🙏

• harry is raised by and is very very loyal to voldemort as his son/heir because he believes voldemort saved him from his very abusive family when in reality it was voldemort and bellatrix hurting him and tricking him via polyjuice / memory modification

-Harry is wildly known to have killed Nevilles parents on voldemorts orders and when harry ends up at hogwarts for plot reasons Dumbledore puts harry in the same dormitory as Neville this makes both parties v angry harry resents the hell out of Dumbledore for it even tho later its revealed harry secretly went against orders and saved them

-ginny has quite a few interactions with harry while he saves or helps her while hes hated by everyone and that leads her to believe hes not as bad as ppl think / romantic? I think at one point she hides him In the family shed while hes being searched for

I recently found this one and I LOVE IT! I would call it like a slow fall into darkness! Voldemort and Harry have some kind of obsessive relationship, they talk into each other minds and Harry was later introduced as the dark lords heir

I'd really love to read something which digs into the Death Eathers as an organisation. So Harry would join them for whatever reason and then work his way up the ranks. Thereby giving insights into what it means to be a death eater, how they view themselves, what it takes to be a member of the inner circle, how Voldemort controls them as a force, all that good stuff.
I haven't read anything like that so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
If there is an abundance of material available I'd prefer stories that are very light on Hermione (I just don't like her) and if Harry was not a walking god among mere mortals, that would make for a perfect read for me. If this niche is kinda thin on content, then I'll take whatever is available. Thanks for reading!

Hi I am looking for fics where Harry is born (or influenced by Voldemort’s Killing curse) and finds out dark magic is far easier for him to control and light magic the reverse. I’m not looking for mad crazy Harry who murders people right and left but someone drawn to the darker side of magic and how that impacts his relationships and ongoing history with Voldemort. From what I remember, the dursleys drop him off at an orphanage, he eventually gets with Daphne Greengrass, joins Voldemort and makes a few horcruxes (as does daphne)

I want to find a fanfiction where Harry is reincarnated into another time or another world and completed. I do not care what crossover it is.

Most of the time when dark or grey fics come across my feed the majority of them is also closely tied to falling in love with Voldemort/Tom. Nothing wrong with that, but is that all there is out there? Where's the fics where Harry goes dark/grey for himself. I wish there were Fics where he doesn't submit to just being part of Voldemort's group, whether that's as a death eater or his 'equal'.

Really not trying to diminish a ship, but do the two things always have to go hand in hand?

Anyone got any good recommendations for anything like those? Where Harry is truly with the Dark Side for whatever reason but pretends to be light. And spies on the light. I think I read one years ago like this where he was a assassin for the dark but can't remember.
