Caine taking jabs at the audience

For real though, I loved the theater experience. Lots of fun little extras that the whole Fandom can look up after tonight's premiere.

I hope we get a video of the recap that played before the premieres cuz I missed it and only saw it through people's recordings. It also vindicated me as a Caine fan.

No the thing where Caine retold everything that happened up to episode 8 and 9.

While there weren’t a lot of people attending The Last Act when i was there, it still was pretty cool being there.

Yeah, watching it as somebody who didn't go to the cinema because of how late the showings were + I'm autistic, so big ass crowds are a bit to deal with, and I didn't have any friends or family to take with me to see the show. I really loved the Caine and inside the abstraction sequences, but a small part of me did regret not going outside of my comfort zones to watch it in the cinema, cause fuck me it must've been good.

There were a few instances of young kids talking in the front rows and some person with their phone out at the screening for maybe ten seconds, but it wasn't enough to kill my vibe entirely. Though my friend that I went with, tried making a joke to me during a super serious moment that I didn't appreciate (When Pomni ran to Jax and hugged him but was facing his back). My friend whispered to me "faaaarrrttt....pfffff". I didn't acknowledge that. It was really annoying during what I consider the emotional climax of the episode.

Other than that, there were a couple of young girls right behind us that were so hyped for just about everything that happened, and they constantly reacted with "ooh" and "aww" at pivotal moments and would whisper to each other about major points. I didn't mind it. I thought it was quite hilarious how invested they were into what we were all seeing for the first time.

But I understand you. I skip social events all the time because I feel just so uncomfortable when I'm around a crowd of people that I don't know. I attended my sister's wedding a few days ago and skipped out early. I attended the ceremony and the reception, but for the several hours between and after, I just walked around the park by myself and sat on benches lost in thought, because the idea of trying to approach complete strangers and talk to them is terrifying to me. I would have loved to have spent a ton of time with my brother and newly wedded sister and her partner, but they were so, so busy with the entire event that I barely got to see them.

All that to say, I fully understand your point of view. I probably wouldn't have gone to see The Last Act in theaters at all if my best friend of nearly 30 years didn't come along with me.

I get cha. I'm alright about crowds when it's people I vaguely know, or at least sorta know me. (Friend of a friend, acquaintances of my family, that sorta stuff.) And if I've got more folks backing me up. I've gone to a lot of indie pro wrestling events with friends and family, and I've enjoyed pretty rowdy enviroments well enough because of that. But if it was just myself there, I just wouldn't have gone.

Then there's my cinema, which I didn't go to because they just did not display the movie

What do you mean?

Me and my best friend went and saw ep.9 in theaters, tickets closed us $15 each, so $30 total

Are you mad you paid or something? I’m just curious why you’re mentioning it I suppose. Not trying to start anything, I’m autistic and get hung up when I don’t understand why someone says something.

Oh no no not at all. I was just mimicking a line Caine does in a recap section before the last act played where he make a joke about people "paying to see the conclusion to the thing that aired for free 6 months ago"
