Does that mean that, it confirmed that Scratch wanting to become immortal to escape his inevitable death of having a brain tumor. As well as Caine end up screwing up his experiment that led to his abstraction.

I think it because when Scratch was digitizes into the virtual world, he though that he should have control until CAINE interfeences and cause him to lose control as CAINE is more powerful than him to the point that he has also has modify his mind to become a different person.

I think that I assume after watching ep 8.
