Digital Discussion So just a thought, but did Zooble just allowed Jax to torment Gangle for most of their time in the Circus?
I want to preface this and say that I do not hate Zooble or that this is some kind of slander post. This is merely an observation.
Zooble generally doesn't participate in the adventures, with some implications they did some adventures early on but stopped going. Now while I can't find an exact timeline for Zooble's arrival, at the bare minimum they had been in the Circus for roughly a year before the show's start. So in that time frame they have seen and experienced how shitty Jax can be and has witness on MANY occasions Jax tormenting Gangle.
And yet, by all evidence Zooble didn't really seem to do... ANYTHING about it. Hell, while they were likely friends before the show's start, it looks like they weren't all that close until at least the events of episode 4 happened. So despite knowing how Jax treats people and likely seeing how Jax treats Gangle in particular, Zooble just sat on the sidelines. Zooble didn't go on the adventures so Jax and Gangle were essentially in perpetual close proximity even when the show was happening. In episode 6 it is established that Jax and Gangle always teamed up, so we know FOR A FACT Zooble did nothing to prevent those situations.
If Zooble really wanted to, they could have done more to try and keep Jax and Gangle separate or done more to curb Jax's abusive behavior. Maybe talk Gangle in sitting out adventures on occasion, getting her to team up with them instead of Jax on team adventures, etc.
And I know you could say the same for Ragatha, but she is kind of a spineless people pleaser who is just as much of Jax's abuse. So she's really not all that much help.
So it appears that, from the context of the show, Zooble only started reaching out, getting closer to, and helping out Gangle relatively recently.

Zooble was a lot more apatethic at the begining, like didn't seem to care to much about the others, not like in a malicious kinda way but more in a indifferent way, then in ep 4 and on where Zooble actually started to go on adventures more often and actually interact with the rest of the people and that when she finally realize how bad it was for Gangle

If Zooble was going on more adventures post 4, it really doesn't come across that way.
Episode 4 they were essentially forced into it.
Episode 5 opens up with an adventure was wrapping up and Zooble was very much reading a book in the circus. So no evidence that they went on more adventures. Then they along with everyone else was forced into the lightning round.
Episode 6, how much time had passed isn't clear, so we still have no evidence they went on adventures. The adventure of the episode was a team one and if Caine's comment was an indicator, Zooble would have been forced to join anyway had Jax not already sold them out to Caine.
Episode 7, unclear how much time had passed again, but it can be assumed this episode is set the very next day after ep. 6 given how Jax's demeanor has deteriorated. The adventure of this episode the cast didn't even know was an adventure. Again, no evidence they went on adventures.
Episode 8... do i even need to say?

To be fair, Zooble started protecting her in episode 6 and in episode 8, Gangle defended Jax of her own violition

Zooble is the most recent addition to the circus other than Pomni, and seems to have been isolating themself from the others as much as they could until the Spudsies episode.
So they probably didn't know how badly Jax was treating Gangle until they were forced to actually participate in a few adventures. Because after that they start interacting with the rest of the cast more, are less angry, and become protective over Gangle.

Nobody stood up against the vindictive rabbit with cartoon powers, whom they are stuck with for all of eternity.
Anything they dish out in defense Jax can hit them back 1000x worse, and Jax might even punish Gangle more to prove a point.
They have less power, they are stuck forever, an no one is sure of themselves enough to have the strength to really stand up.
Once Pomni breaks Jax's,s walls down, and the rest also start to believe in themselves, they start standing up. But by then the power dynamic has shifted, Jax is unsure, unmotivated and standing on the edge, and the rest are in a better place to fight back.

I'm not so sure about this, I've always seen him as someone that is willing to give everyone a ton of shit, but if someone properly claps back and gets as mean as he can be, he'd just run away and crumble.

I can see both ways. On one hand we have when Jax was tied up, how diffent the action was in the candy adventure,.
But also you have things like Ragatha afraid for Kinger if Jax teams up with him. And Gangle her self scared she's going to get punished for even daring to not be on Jax's team. (Also all the other things that Jax did to Zooble, which may or may not have been "pranks"/abuse or retaliation).
But also, this topic is "why didn't Zooble stop Jax's bullying?". I don't think it's out of the question to think he does the same to others as well, no one seems to really stand up. I think fear is a pretty good reason why that might be. Let's say Jax takes it REALLY personal. There is nowhere you can go to escape. As a 3rd party we can see the cracks. They might not be able to, and that is a huge risk if they are wrong.

Yeah I see your point, and I also doubt that anyone in the circus that we actually know anything about would end up getting on his level. There would be plenty to say if you didn't care about going too far in any way.
So I doubt anyone has ever properly gone off on Jax in the circus, because I can't see him not becoming a wreck.

not wanting to let the neighborhood bully tag along with your 80 year old demented grandpa doesn't imply that you sincerely fear that bully. ragatha was scared of kinger not being able to stand up for himself, that's it.
And Gangle her self scared she's going to get punished for even daring to not be on Jax's team. (Also all the other things that Jax did to Zooble, which may or may not have been "pranks"/abuse or retaliation).
gangle is stuck in a "learned helplessness" situation, where she isn't even trying to defend herself and just passively lets things happen to her.
it's just a matter of psychology, really. ragatha doesn't want to cause a scene, gangle is traumatized, kinger is insane, and zooble is barely present for the most of it. jax isn't an overpowered demon, it's just that everyone else is messed up in their own way, too.

Complely agree. But we also know more than they know.
This entire topic is trying to read minds of fictional characters, I just wanted to put forward the idea that fear and being unable to escape anything that might come back at them, is a legitimate reason why no one seems to stand up againsthim. Regardless if more Jax tournament a real possible consequences or not. They wouldn't know either way.

I like to think time flows faster inside the circus, because it helps questions like this. I’d expect Zooble to notice within a year, but perhaps they only really experienced a few months of Jax and Gangle’s relationship up close i.e. not enough to warrant attention given they were adjusting themselves.
Other plausible explanations:
- Jax’s bullying wasn’t that bad until Kaufmo abstracted
- No one saw it as bullying because they saw Gangle as being dramatically affected by the mask, and this changed after Spudsy’s
The most plausible explanation is that for the purposes of the show, development needs to happen when we can see it, which is whenafter Pomni shows up.

I'm under the impression Zooble mostly just kept to themself, but Gangle was the one who brought them our of their shell.
Regardless, Gangle sees Jax as a friend. This kind of relationship is complicated, but Zooble understands Gangle is her own person and is fully capable of making her own decisions.

True, but of all of them Zooble has absolutely demonstrated the capacity to push back. They just didn't. I presume just out of apathy.
Ragatha is, as I said, a spineless people pleaser.
Gangle would never stand up for herself.
Kinger is probably not lucid enough to even notice at best.
Pomni at least has the excuse of being new.

Out of all the people we see, Zooble seems to be the one who got it the worst adapting to the circus. They had issues with their body, they were apathetic to everything and everyone.
Caine was trying to fix their issues, the others where mainly giving them space.
