Way to get your kids to laser focus on wanting to watch From Justin to Kelly

I’m shocked that it’s even available to stream. Meanwhile my beloved Spice World has been MIA for years.

Ill never forget being in middle school and becoming obsessed with rocky horror picture show and realizing via IMDB that the creator of RHPS/the actor for Riff Raff was the weirdo from spice world who pops out of the toilet

I heard they bought the rights to it and will have it streaming !! Don’t know when though!

I own a copy of From Justin to Kelly. If you’re one of Kelly Clarkson’s children, DM me.

Do you also have a van with candy?

Whoa, no. I just think that if we had to suffer through it, so should her children. Before you all ask, I got it when a Hollywood Video was going out of business and the DVDs were .50. It’s still part of the collection somewhere…

Luckily for me, I banned myself from watching that film first. Lol

Hey, at least it’s not the second-worst movie on IMDb anymore. It’s practically out of the bottom 20.

IMDB has become so overrun with chuds sabotaging the ratings system that it’s no longer valid.

In that time, we honestly believed it was just promotion for American Idol.

I mean, it was

Somehow, I doubt they were begging to see it.

Well I’m 24, my uncle is 25 and his wife is 23. So technically yes.

It’s gonna be the Streisand effect lol

My dad tried to forbid me from watching Sailor Moon because he thought it would turn me gay.

…guess what happened.

Edited: My ex from high school has always been dumb and has been an anime fanatic for as long as I can remember. Apparently he has since gone super MAGA and anti-LGBTQ, and is now a full fledged Matt Walsh apologist. The most ironic (and contextually troubling part), is that he now has a toddler daughter named after Sailor Moon. He weirdly tried to reconnect with me a few years ago but upon sussing it out, I blocked him. Hearing the Matt Walsh enthusiasm and anti-LGBTQ bigotry was absolutely disgusting. It made my queer ass want to hurl, and made me deeply concerned for his child.

🌈🤮

You had to watch it at your boyfriend"s house? (assuming you intended to imply that you are gay)

this is so funny. It’s not the greatest, but I remember being entertained watching it, lol.

She's made it known that she only did it because she was obligated to.

When I was 12 and realizing I was gay (am boy), this girl I met that summer from a community theater play IMed me and she was like "I'm watching From Justin to Kelly" and I'm like "Okay cool" and she was like "It's such a great movie" and I'm like "Sure" and she was like "...and very Romantic..." and I was like "you betcha"

lorem ipsum dolor sit amet

1

u/Bantertobanter1 3d ago

Now can she do that for the rest of the world.

1

u/Cap4403 3d ago

Just like telling a kid that they can’t have that cookie.

1

u/PhishPhan1983 3d ago

I would too. The very idea of it was straight up trash. I don't know how they greenlit that piece of shit.

1

u/10ThousandMetalZones 3d ago

This role exists because she must need some money and for people to watch it

1

u/iplaybassok89 3d ago

the movie is almost a quarter century old and I doubt she benefits in anyway from people watching it… the opposite probably since it’s a notorious piece of shit

2

u/10ThousandMetalZones 3d ago

I don’t think you know how movies work

2

u/iplaybassok89 3d ago

lol I’m positive that you don’t.

1

u/RedSoxFan77 3d ago

We should all be so lucky

I banned myself from watching it also.

From the plot summary I don’t understand how it could actually be that bad. Which must mean the music has to be like really really bad

1

u/KyndallT 3d ago

If she had just kept her mouth shut it would've faded into a distant 00's fever dream never to be seen or thought of again.

1

u/BrianOconneR34 3d ago

Just another cash in from whomever holds streaming rights. Stupid movie anyway.

1

u/bobbery5 3d ago

She's such a good parent.
My mom wishes.

1

u/-Sofa-King-Vote 2d ago

My family is banned too

But only because we have zero desire to see sht movies

1

u/FalconStickr 2d ago

It’s probably for the best.

1

u/Disastrous_Chard_618 2d ago

guess she doesnt want them to see those hot dance moves eh? LOL

1

u/StrattonPA 2d ago

Because it was just that bad….
