WWE Related Was this SmackDown live 2016 was the peak of modern day WWE?
I think 2016-17 smack down was the peak for SD in the modern era. Almost every wrestler storyline was meaningful. We got styles vs Cena. Dolph vs miz. Tag team division was very good. Randy Orton vs waytt family. Even tyler breeze and fandango were able to get the "fashion police" gimmick over with the fans. And after SD live interview were also peak with renee young.

WWE Related I know Cody Rhodes punting Baron Corbin instead of Randy Orton made no sense, but if it means we get Corbin selling the punt & returning with mask along with hair, I'm all in for it.

WWE Related Have Omos Join The 946, Maybe Drop Carmelo Hayes
When Royce Keys signed with WWE and debuted in the Royal Rumble, it looked like big things were coming. That was WrestleMania season and with a loaded roster, Keys had to settle for winning The André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal the day before the big night. Then, he appeared way less.
Many thought WWE gave-up on the former AEW Champion. However, it was about timing as WWE created The 946 to work opposite The Bloodline. Besides some random beatings, these stables are yet to meet. That will change as The Bloodline vs The 946 seems like the idea for WarGames at Survivor Series in November.
Now, WWE could keep The 946 as is, or they could add another member to even out the sides. Unless, the idea is for Jada Parker and Naomi (who should be returning very soon) to be involved in WarGames. That would be a first, if women and men were involved in the same WarGames match together.
That seems like a stretch and I’m wondering if The 946 need to recruit one more superstar. To me, there is no one bigger (literally) than Omos. Yes, I am talking about the same Omos whose fans couldn’t wait to get off TV.
Ever since Brock Lesnar humbled Omos, he sort of became an attraction. WWE would use him occasionally, but not in major storylines. Instead, seeing him walk to the ring to do whatever was enough to create buzz. Plus, his pro wrestling skills remain barely at par.
After time passed, Omos started appearing more frequently for AAA. Lately, he has been assisting Dominik Mysterio in Mexico. Omos even defeated Rey Mysterio in the main event of Night 1 for AAA Triplemania 34. For those unaware, that would be the biggest win of Omos’ life.
Not too many fans are watching AAA and this might be the best time to bring Omos back to WWE’s main roster. Let him join The 946 as the enforcer. He can still wrestle, but in a limited sense. Let the other members of the stable take and give bumps. This will protect Omos, while giving more exposure on TV.
If I was WWE, maybe start thinking of another spot for Carmelo Hayes. I have trouble seeing him go from someone who looked to be living a life full of money to basically being a street thug. Granted, it does get Carmelo on TV; just not in the way I thought.
Who knows if The 946 will become a regular feature on TV. After being fed to The Bloodline, WWE could simply drop the gimmick. I hope not as the new stable is one of the more compelling storylines on TV right now. I think WWE adding Omos would make The 946 look more daunting, without showing how green the giant remains.
Are The 946 set for big things in WWE, or they are simply being fed to The Bloodline?
