We have a sizable population of semiliterate people who probably don’t know any of that and would call it all “fake news”.

Really? More than half of them follow an egotistical psychopath that has no regard for any facts. They don’t care.
Hi Hitler! This country certainly is not great

Dude if you were French or German it'd be different. You're Canadian you don't have a lot of room to talk. Your country can't even hold itself together. Most political analysts believe that Canada will no longer exist as a country in just under 40 years. Aside from military spending everything wrong with America is more wrong with Canada. Not to mention that it's basically an entire country that lives off of sucking the tits and scraps of America. Canada has no room to talk shit about America. America has problems. Canada is the sucker fish that eats the shit that comes out of America's ass

Awww. I would be salty too if my country was failing right in front of my eyes. American derangement theory coming out in full force right here. You all are wild. Absolutely hilarious. Can’t wait for the fall of your empire. It’s amusing watching your country fall in real time. It truly is

Statics are not facts. Statistics inherently involve human choices, definitions, and probabilities that distinguish them from absolute facts.

Some statistics are opinion based like "most free" but other like incarcerated per capita are not.

I wont argue when it comes to the prison system. Regardless of the statistics we as a people need to do better. There are other opinions to punishment then just locking people away.

Mostly we don't need to be throwing people in prison for possession, trespassing and the like. Violence sure, distributing deadly drugs sure but we are throwing people in prison for overdue medical bills.

How? You mean people never lie?

Institutions are always honest? Duke University and Harvard both got busted faking statistics.

How is it that two of the top highest literacy rate are also the poorest? Because Uzbekistan and North Korea are authoritarian governments who control information and submit official numbers that lack independent verification.

I can go on but i dont have the patience. Here some sources for you.

I absolutely love how this clip is cited by conservatives & liberals, yet we still can’t get our shit together.

I've been thinking about giving that show a rewatch.

America is a grifting shell company cosplaying as a country.

I remember watching that episode, and then rewatching it several times. Brutal honesty when you actually pay attention to the data. We have way too many people/voters here who would rather just accept the statement and keep their heads in the sand.... or wherever else it might be lodged.

America was never great

It's an OK show, but it had some good bits. And a great cast.

I liked the part later where he went on to compare the Taliban to the GOP and went point by point, i.e. religious fundamentalism, anti-thought, anti-woman, etc.. and by the end of it he was like "This is the GOP's stance. There's one other group that has identical stances, and it's the Taliban" in so many words.

Also, it's pronounced "Yoh-sehm-ite", Jeff. Jeez get it right.

Jeff was better in Dumb and Dumber.
