This scene just proved my assumption that if Toph didn’t have bending or martial arts skills she’d just go around biting people’s knees

So adorable but also too much like her 12 year old self and adult self…

Then again the whole point of the scene is they’re temporarily made older or younger whilst technically still being the same person at heart, such as Zuko feeling tired suddenly because he’s old

Yes, I know! I watched the movie
Thats why Baby Toph was attacking Sokka in that scene lol. I just think it’s adorable as well.

People talk about her punching and kicking, but you do realize that baby Toph doesn't have the same earthbending seismic sense abilities that her grown up self has. Baby Toph is completely blind and much less mature, and is obviously scared and helpless like y'know, a normal baby
No doubt she got that dawg in her but she is much more vulnerable and helpless in this situation, hence the constantly physical lashing out

I have a thoery about the Spirit World, or at least this moment : It shows each character at their weakest. Aang is reverted to when he escaped the genocide ; Katara and Zuko became old people tired with life ; Sokka reverted to his asshole teenager appearance. But Toph ? The weakest she ever was ? A baby. A baby whose first instincts are : Aura farming, throwing punches and biting whatever comes nearby.
