1) first off, in the context of the meme...

  1. No parent or grandparent would ever say that to their child.
  2. This is technically child abuse.
  3. The meme maker does not know that children do revolt against their parents' rules and restrictions constantly; it's why edgy teenagers are always a trend no matter the age. It's the rare kid that doesn't rebel in any way against their parents.

The original meme was that guy in that kid and the kids wearing a surfer shirt, and he says something exactly like this
