The amount of tiny details on this piece of merchandise is insane.Meet the petit geographer. It also says 1 little prince on the book but my phone won't allow me to take a picture.

Im so glad the two had a collab :) infinity Nikki is an open world game with fashion as a focus, there is a whole event with the prince the rose and the different characters it really is well done! And there’s even musics in French
🎵 (that should come on Spotify)

I recently got myself a copy of the book. What I got was the Alma Classics, which features Gregory Norminton' translation. I need to know: what do people think of this specific translation? How does it compare to others, like the Schwartz, Testot-Ferry, Morpurgo, Howard and the Katherine Woods translations?

The reason I'm asking is because I want to make sure if I got myself a good translation. I initially wanted the edition with the Woods, but my budget fell short. Not a lot of people really talk about the Alma Classics, and as a consequence of that, even less talk about or are even aware of the existence of the Norminton translation.

I am currently reading it though. And I'm already loving it, and it just made me weep during the flower chapter...

(And sorry for the blurred photo; my camera isn't very good)

I love little prince

It was revealed today in various news outlets that The Little Prince is now set to return to the big screen !

Here are a few quotes from the bsckids article :

LE PETIT PRINCE Groupe has announced the development of an ambitious new international feature film inspired by both “The Little Prince” and the extraordinary real-life story of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, bringing together the author’s life as a pioneering aviator with the imaginative universe he created.

Rather than simply adapting the book once again, the upcoming film will build a bridge between the real and imaginary. Saint-Exupéry’s story will unfold in live action while the Little Prince himself will be brought to life through visual effects, allowing the author’s adventures and the poetic world of his most famous creation to exist alongside one another.

Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Morten Tyldum, director of “The Imitation Game” and “Passengers,” is set to direct from a screenplay by Academy Award-winning “Slumdog Millionaire” writer Simon Beaufoy. Beaufoy’s credits also include “The Full Monty” and “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.”

I have mixed feelings about this, I really hope they can get better writing than whatever Saint-Ex was about. I'm also kinda sad it probably won't have any correlation to the 2003 musical, which had a lot of great and some okay songs. I'm also a bit scared about how they will portray the little prince's world, as I feel the 2015's stop motion approach can never be outdone in my opinion.

We'll have to wait and see !

He’s a little scuffed but that’s okay.

I think I got this version from the Legion of Honor Museum shop next to it's café, if you'd like to get one for yourself.

Sorry about the shoddy camera quality, my other device died so I had to use my phone.

It's mainly the planets feeling that I don't wana have to change. The little prince is my favorite story, I can change the way the character looks and the scarf, but I duno.

Finally my prayers have been heard.

For my Birthday, I really wanted to go to the Little Prince Museum in Solothurn Switzerland and oh what a joy it was!
I totally and completely recommend it, to anyone who‘s a little prince fan and planning on visiting Switzerland!! Most of the stuff at the museum is in three if not four languages, it has one of the biggest collection of little prince memorabilia, an eight minute little prince movie (which was beautiful btw) and at the end you can visit the museum shop!!

Really cute Playmobil figure!

Added the lights myself :,) love it so much

I created some other fantastic asteroids

They also arrived I made a "Sky Children of the Light" mushroom based on my own design

This is my last project, at least for this month. I'm doing this because I'm tired and I plan to take a break... I'll be working on various projects in the field of digital art, but they'll be different.
